Sega Mega Drive Classic Game Retro Console 81 Built-In Games

Great product and value for money, took me back to my youth.

Got the product for my dads Fathers Day this year. Please be aware that you don't get 80 Mega Drive games with this system, it can be a bit misleading that way unless you read the full description, there is 40 mega drive games and 40 arcade games, which for the price is still a very good deal.plugged it in and it worked fine. Games all load fine and we also have bought original Mega Drive games which have worked flawlessly with the system also.Only negative about this product is the wireless controllers, they are of very poor technology, they miss out button presses all the time and are very unreliable, if you are going to buy this, there should be a suggestion to buy wired controllers with it, spend the extra money and get these, as they work amazingly well. Glad I did in the first instance.so 4/5 for this, purely because of the wireless controller issue.

My 10 year old is Sonic mad and has played all the old games online. However this takes it all back to original mega drive level. He's very happy though I can't say I've tried it out to see if it brings back those 90's feelings. Small and neat, easy to set up and plenty to get on with once it's going. Price is on the top end of reasonable.

Bought this as a treat for myself. Great to play a lot of the old games again and even enjoyed the old graphics!Something isn't quite right with the sound though, things sound a bit different than I remember, but that doesn't take away from the experience. All my old mega drive cartridges play on it too, so that's good.I found the controllers a bit strange (slightly unresponsive), so I plugged in my ones from my mega drive and this felt much more familiar and seemed to work better.Wish there was a slightly wider selection of games- ie. it would have been nice to see things like James Pond, Toki, Castle of Illusion etc. There are a lot of fighting/battle games which maybe people loved but I find a bit boring.Overall though, a neat little console for retro gamers... and great for a rainy day or to pass a couple of hours here and there.

I don't normally give any feedback but this was a brilliant piece of kit so felt I had to. Best thing about it was how easy it was to install. I don't have the best of luck with technology but it went of without a hitch. Now I can play all my sega games that didn't work on my 3-1 console :) thank you.

Was really excited when i received one of these as a christmas present, havent played mega drive in a long time and was excited by some of the titles on the box but.... it wasnt to last, sound is bad, i mean im sure an old nokia 3310 could output better sound than this.The wireless controllers supplied are just pointless since even sitting less than a metre away it loses signal alot and i MEAN ALOT!!, you could be playing a game and it just loses signal for seemingly no reason, need to make sure nothing is blocking the way but even then it happens all the time not just now and again which i could put up with, its simply frustrating, some games are 2 player and some arent, you have to go through the games itself to see if its supported which i dont understand why some games support it and some do not.This just seems like a good idea that the developers obviously just chucked out without any real testing, ive just download an emulator for my laptop and going to play the games on their instead im sure i will have better luck with that.If you want to waste your money just to spend most of the time smashing the controller buttons so close to the console you might as well sit on it then its right up your street.My advice say well clear.

Bought this for my 62 year old brother and he loves it works from the box easy ti use and unlike the old mega drive console you can save at points in the games no more starting from the beginning.
