Rugged Bear Little Girls' Solid Ski Jacket

Love this coat!!! Super warm, and love the added protection of the waist band to keep snow and wind from coming up underneath the coat. It is water proof and has several pockets to keep treasures in. The only reason it doesn't get a five star is because it runs a little large-granted our daughter is a tooth pick so that could be our problem. She's 21 months and the 2t just dwarfs her- down to her knees and swallows her up. Tempted to keep it but her arms will outgrow the sleeves before the rest of the coat fits (they are a little on the short side considering how big the rest of the coat is). Great coat overall if your little one fits it.

Storm flap over zipper is something you don't find on many kids jackets these days, but not only adds an extra layer of protection but serves as backup to a broken zipper or for kids who don't zip. Can't say I like the look of the diagonal front zippers, but they make the pockets obvios and easy to use. Storm cuffs also help keep the chill away. Although it's called a ski jacket, I think it's probably a bit heavy and bulky for any child who ventures off the bunny slopes. It's really more of an all-purpose kids jacket that can go from playground recess to weekend sledding.[I was going to give this four stars, but as I wrote this review I ticked off so many more pluses than the average kids coat that I realized I had to give it five]

We really needed a heavy winter coat for our toddler daughter - but not just a ski coat - she needed a warm coat for school, etc. This really seems like it will work. I like that it's a single layer rather than zip out coats ( a little less bulky) and the color is adorable. I think the size chart that Amazon provided has the coat running a little large, but she won't have an issue wearing thick layers underneath. We haven't tested it out in the wet snow yet, so I will be sure to update the review.This coat also arrived in 1 business day from order - AMAZING!

I purchased this for my 13 month old (26 lb, 32.5" tall). I ordered a 2T in this coat since she is mostly wearing 24 month and 2T clothing. I was hoping to get a whole winter out of it by getting the larger size.Pros:- Seems very warm- Material seems durable- Long enough to cover baby's bottom so no draft- Price is pretty reasonableCons:- Sizing was a bit odd. It was way too long on EB. I would have attributed that to my purposely getting a larger size, except that the sleeves were proportionally short. By the time the coat fit properly length-wise, the sleeves will be way too short.- The coat was very stiff and bulky. For a toddler just learning to walk and move around, this coat was much too restrictive. My daughter stood there with her arms mostly stuck straight out to the sides. The coat might become softer and more flexible as EB wears it, but in the meantime it is too stiff fit her to wear without being miserable.Bottom line: I returned this coat and bought a much less bulky OshKosh coat for a similar price at a wholesale club.

I purchased the 2T for my almost two year old daughter. She definitely has room to grow and will be able to wear it next fall/winter. The jacket is warm, but very puffy. My daughter looks like a little marshmallow in it - it seems to swallow her up. However, she really likes this jacket, and will ask to wear it even when the weather does not warrant such a warm jacket.

This was a great coat for the money. The jacket functions well; all materials, snaps and zippers appear durable. I daughter is small so for most other kids this jacket may run small

Nice coat, I bought it for my daughter for next winter, at $16 how could I pass that up. The arms look incredibly short so I doubt it will fit next winter sadly. It's a super nice coat over all.

I had to return the first coat because it was defective, but the second one I received does a pretty good job. The hood is a little looser than I'd like because it won't stay on very well. Overall, it's pretty good.
