This is no cheap, made in China POS. It's actually solid wood (not solid wood product, pressboard, melamine, plywood) and sturdy AF. The finish is gorgeous. My 8yo actually helped put this together, it was so simple. Literally all I needed was a Phillips screwdriver. I'm so tired of having to get out power tools to put together something when they just give you a cheap Allen wrench. Do not hesitate to buy this. Well worth the price.

I spent more on a plastic one that I ended up throwing in the trash just after 2 weeks. This one is very well made and I feel it will last a long time. Very solid.

It looks nice and feels sturdy. Two of the screw holes were not properly aligned. I was able to get by with just screwing in one of the screws for the problematic piece. Thankfully, I am only putting my feet on it.

Sturdy. Easy to assemble. It’s a must have when breastfeeding. It’s really elevated my breastfeeding experience and helped me be fore comfortable. Easy to move from one spot to another and you can use as a step stool if needed too, it’s just a little slanted because that’s the design. Recommended.

Sturdy, durable, easy to assemble, easy to clean, looks good, but most of all it is the perfect height, width, and depth for optimal ergonomics. I am 5'4" and have a lower spine injury, this keeps me aligned so I can use my desk for longer periods without pain.

I was interested in this item because I wanted a chair we bought to be more comfortable! The plan worked. My back feels better with the leverage of having my feet on the stool. Plus it is made from a nice attractive wood! So it looks nice too!

Update: I received my second stool. I was careful with the dowels and they inserted without incident. Unfortunately while following the directions, the screw holes simply wouldn't line up. I tried gently pushing the wood pieces to get them to line up but this didn't work. Not wanting to request yet a third stool, I unassembled everything and then assembled in a different order than instructed. This allowed me to gently manipuate the wood and get the holes to align. The finished foot stool looks great and is comfortable as an under desk footstool. Iike the item, but the company needs to either pre-assemble it or work on better directions and quality control. I am leaving this review at three stars because the assembly problems make it more trouble than it may be worth to many people. ******** As I was assembling the stool, I had difficulty inserting one of the two dowels because it was too big for the hole. I applied a little more pressure and-*SNAP*-the dowel broke off inside the hole with no way to retrieve it. I saw from another review that this isn't uncommon. I returned and ordered a new one. I'm sad that I have to wait again. I am giving it another chance because it looked like a really nice stool. The only parts that appeared to be junk were the dowels.

This is very sturdy, well designed, and well-suited to my needs. It's also beautiful and a great addition to my music studio. It was very easy to assemble. The only issue I had was that it was missing a screw (or I lost it). I replaced it with a slightly longer one, which put a small crack in the wood. I should have reached out to the company instead, but I was impatient to start using it right away.
