Nice
Don’t know why I didn’t have one of these already. Really worked out well and the lens remained crystal clear all night long!Good value for money and extended my session (ie forgot to check lens the night before and had over an hour of pics taken through a fogged up lens!) Added this the next day(prime delivery) and the fogging is a thing of the past!

Does the job!
Works a treat for long nights of Astrophotography. Beware, it will very quickly drain a power bank so don’t leave unattended without keeping an eye on levels!

I'll never buy Kendrick equipment again
Brilliant dew remover, plus it'll stop it forming on damp nights outside.I've spent a fortune in astromical Kendrick equipment, and yes it's brilliant with a finer strength on its control box, but Neewer do a Band for an 8" SCT, at a fraction of the price. The band I use is for professional Lenses is smaller, but equally as effective.Had I known of these, though I don't think they were about five years ago, I'd have gone with Neewer Bands in a heart beat. It's a superb product, I'd recommend 100%.

Great first impression.
I've got this so that I can use my camera for long periods in the dark. Specifically, I'm getting back into Timelapse photography, where I'll be running the camera for several hours in the dark. It's highly likely that even with a lens hood on, it'll get dew on the lens. So, one of these wrapped around the lens should be more than enough to keep the dew off. I think for the most part, I'll only need to use it on the lowest setting, but it's good to have more power available in case I do the stupid thing and forget to turn it on. I'm planning on powering this from the USB powerbank, which should give me enough power for the sessions that I have in mind. (several hours from before sunset to maybe after sunrise.

Gets rather warm
A nicely made dew heater with included storage bag that does its job but seems also to be intended as a hand warmer and baby bottle warmer (sic). Even on its lowest setting stays at about 40 degrees C, which is much warmer than you are likely to need to control dew. I bought it for astrophotography use and there its important to keep the camera sensor cool to reduce noise. I would be concerned that this would heat the lens up sufficiently to also affect the sensor which is not great. On first press of the power button it comes on at the high setting (55-65 degrees) which would even be damaging for the lens and potentially painfully hot to the touch. Further presses select medium then low. A lower setting - say 30 degrees - and default to lowest not highest heat would make it ideal
