After moving last year, I lost the remote. For a whole year since, everything was done manally considering that it is not hooked up to the cable. I purchased one in which the model number was not listed and hoped for the best. No luck. Had to return it. Guess what? Not until I sent it back did my tv number turned up on one of the remote listed on Amazon. I ordered it but for some reason it took a while to receive it but eventually it arrived and looked and worked just like the original one that came with the tv. I expect to find the old one any day now. Isn't that how it works? Great product.

Did not come with a manual, there was no way to set up. Cannot be connected just by "putting in batteries & pointing it at the screen."
