Pilates PRO Chair Extra Resistance Springs

Was worried it would not work on my pilate machine since it's an older model but the springs works wonderful.... love the resistance... much stronger than the other ones.

I have used the Pilates chair for 10 years (this is my second one). I prefer the original tension springs but they are impossible to replace and the "extra resistance" springs are so tight that some of the exercises become difficult to perform. So, over the years I have been frustrated with the replacement springs. I am delighted with these, they are the perfect tension for a good Pilates workout. They seem to be heavy duty springs but they are not too tight. I like them so much I am ordering a second pair so I will have them when I need them.

I didn't know that there were two sizes. This size is very sturdy and thick. You will get a very good leg workout.I hope it helps my core.

These are nothing like the springs which come with the Pilates Pro Chair...even though the ad says they are Life's a Beach springs. The ones on the left are the originals.....and the ones on the right shipped from China. Yes they offer more resistance.....on the harder setting I can barely stretch them 2 inches. On the easy setting they stretch a bit more. These do not make for a good workout. I hate them!!! Also, the curved bit on the end where you attach them to the chair....it's very short, doesn't curve much and looks like it will very easily slip off by accident.

Thank you, thank you for these extra resistant springs! I have done mat pilates for years, but got away.from it for years, big mistake!!! Anyway I found a Malibu Pilates Pro chair for sale locally and bought dvds on ebay, there were some moves I.couldnt do cause the springs were not resistant enough for me, I am 5ft 10in and 185 lbs. I put these on my chair and finally I can do them, like the pike! As my strength progresses, these springs will be so helpful!!

I was doing great with my regular springs. I was maxing out my reps and finding the resistance was too easy. I saw these EXTRA RESISTANCE Springs on Amazon and jumped to buy them. Such a great deal. I am currently using one Extra Resistance Spring and one Regular Spring on the chair and working up to using both Extra Resistance Springs on my chair soon! The springs make a HUGE difference.
