I bought these to give as gifts to a meeting I was at. They went down very well indeed!

Romance in Candy Form — Slightly Chalky, Mildly Judgy Love Hearts: the only candy that flirts and insults you in the same bag. One minute it's saying "BE MINE" and the next it's handing you "LOL" like your love life is a joke. Savage little sugar tablets. They taste like if sugar and sidewalk chalk had a baby — but in a weirdly addictive way. Like, “Hmm, this tastes like childhood regrets and Valentine’s Day trauma… better eat five more.” Perfect for: Passive-aggressive flirting Awkward school crushes Eating alone while pretending not to care Would I buy them again? Yes. Do I understand why? Absolutely not. Love is confusing — and so are these sweets. 💘

Remember the scene - its some time in the 80s and the girls at school are giving out Love Heart sweets. Though not as utterly superb as Refreshers, you hang around in the hope that you might be afforded one. Unfortunately the girls, shuffling through all of the messages on the sweets to find an appropriate one that hints at their antipathy towards you, give up and wont even let you have the super-rare 'I'm indifferent to you'. They try, in vain to find a 'Hate is too soft a word to define my feelings towards you' and end up giving up, leaving you without a sweet. Now though, you, like me, can control the narrative. You can buy a big batch of Love Hearts like this, enjoy their sweet and fizzy taste and try to move the soppy messages around in such a way that you can trick yourself into thinking people like you. In your face secondary school - I'm in charge now!

Great for heart burn

What can I say? I have been waiting for these to arrive like a kid, lol. My favourite 'retro' sweet - and worth every penny. There's definitely 50 packets, each containing 7 sweets (so that's 350 delicious Love Hearts (just for me) as I love myself so much so that I might even need to buy another box, or is that just greed? They arrived well packaged in a box that goes through the letterbox and they were undamaged and have a best before date 0f 30/10/2020 - not that they'll see the end of this week! The total weight is slightly over half a kilogram. They taste the same as they always have and would be excellent as a present, treats, engagements, weddings or simply to eat yourself and why not? Definitely recommend 100%.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Reason for 3 stars is they were advertised wrapped in foil but arrived wrapped in plastic (I was trying to avoid plastic packaging). Apart from that, very good value for money, great size for favours or party bags.

Received these for landing on a recent Virgin Atlantic flight and I'm now oddly addicted to them. Unfortunately it looks like the price has already went up substantially since I ordered.

I thought that these were different from the love hearts that you buy in the store but they are actually just smaller packages of the same product. Only about 7 per package, so it's a bit of a waste of packaging.
