Demand has pushed the price up
Perfect for the job. Works on our coax.(split flexible deduct.) Sham the price has been hiked up. ( at most High Street suppliers, this costs about £3 WHEN in stock. ) O well supply and demand pushes up the price I suppose online I’m just glad work was picking up up the bill. lol.

Didn’t know I needed this until I used it — absolute time-saver
So I grabbed this split-conduit opening tool thinking “how useful can this really be?” and yeah… it turns out VERY. If you’ve ever tried to feed wires into split loom by hand, you know the pain: the conduit keeps snapping shut, the wires escape, your fingers get shredded — absolute chaos. With this thing it’s basically a smooth glide. You just feed the conduit onto the tool, drop your wires into the groove and slide it along, and it opens the loom perfectly while swallowing the wires at the same time. No fighting it, no swearing at plastic tubing. I ran a few metres of cable into 10mm and 13mm conduit and it honestly took a quarter of the time. The tool feels sturdy too — not flimsy plastic that’s going to snap the second you push it too hard. It grips the loom properly, and once you get the hang of the angle you can fly through long sections in one go. If you're doing car wiring, van builds, home cable management, or anything where you need to loom wires neatly, this thing pays for itself instantly. Honestly one of those tools you don’t think about… until you try it and wonder why you ever struggled without it.
