I have also found it valuable for fixing steel mesh to timber before plastering/rendering. As you are treating it like a hammer you might hit the same spot twice or more then you need to. Just a false of habit that you pickup. So you need to treate this product differently if you need to do things precise with it. Also you may use more staples then you need.
