Tried everything else
I've got a small round damp patch on my living room wall, it's not my property,I rent it but its been bugging me for ages. I tried painting over it with magnolia and the damp stain came back through, I then sanded the wall with sand paper, and painted 3 x coats of damp seal paint on, leaving a day between each one, then I covered it with 2 coats of magnolia and you would never know there was any damp there. I am so pleased. It really annoyed me and I tried everything, have already ordered a second tin. Amazing product. Really pleased.

goes on easily and seems to work.
Used this on a damp wall about a month ago and gave it 2 coats. At the moment the wall is absolutely fine and have repainted it with no problems, hope this continues.

disappointed tbh
worked for abit then the damp just camp back having my landlord sort the issue now as i threatened to sue so good but not best to completely stop damp however i did have this mark on the wall that if i painted over it - it seeped through weird blue paint but that covered and it doesn't show through so made up with that

Partial Solution to fungus patches
Although this was used as one prong of a multi-pronged attack. After treating area with Granocryl Fungicidal Wash, again found on Amazon, applied the Ronseal to affected area. Used kitchen paint, the kind that gives a plasticy and washable surface, and finally now keep two damp traps in the corners of the room affected to keep air dry and avoid any build up of moisture. Worked very well, no problems since.

Bought small tin, by mistake. the product did not cover in one go.but I guess it will do the job. overall pleased. if stan /damp is blocked

I had some damp on a wall that looked awful and the wallpaper had started to peel,so i looked on Amazon for something to treat it with,read the reviews and ordered a tin,it came within 2 days and i got to work on the wall,and found it easy to apply,quick drying and without leaving a strong odour.I was able to paint after just a couple of hours and the problem seems to have gone,my wall is now dry.I had some left in the tin because it goes a long way and i did at the back of the toilet where the wall seemed to get wet and its worked,so thank you for your good reviews on this item its solved my damp problem
