Perfect for camping
These are perfect for camping, small but very effective, a bit stiff for the first few uses but loosen up nicely by the second or third meal. Excellent value for money too, highly recommended! Arrived full of good quality salt and pepper, which was a nice surprise.

Sturdy.
Exactly what I wanted. To carry a sample of blue salt. Very solid construction. Other cole and masons are flimsy and light. The cole and masons with metal tops seem the best choice.

Broken grinding mechanism
These little salt and pepper mills are very cute. The perfect size for camping. They are very light weight and quite flimsy, not the sturdy or robust standard you expect from Cole and Mason. On second use of the pepper mill the grinding mechanism had broken and there was no way of mending it. We sent the set back immediately and got a full refund.
