The listing for this product says it’s a foam cape, this is in correct because it’s 100% polyester. What is foam is the weapons and shields that can be brought separately. The product I received was slightly damaged because of the glue on the packaging, the bag it came in overlapped the seal and glue was placed on the cape. Removing the glue caused the material to have pulls in the fabric. When a ribbon starts fraying and produces loads of strands, that’s how I describe what happened with the cape when it wears out it starts to fray. However had it not been for the damage from the glue I would say yeah ok it’s a lovely cape and will last the kids for a few play days. I am slightly dubious about the material though because if it would come into contact with a flame it would melt to the skin so. Muslin cloth is so cheap to use so why they don’t use a safer material is beyond me. There’s a great selection of costumes from this seller, which are all brightly coloured and very attractive to the kids.

It’s a decent product and kept the kids very entertained. It’s just got a small Velcro so easy to put on and take off without any choking hazard. The only issue is that it has not guidance on fire retardancy. It’s made of polyester but given its a children’s cape it’s important to have fire safety instructions. 3.5 stars

The seems are not quite sown together correctly, leaving white material at points. velcro top didn't work.cape kept falling off!Really lovely costume, But just be aware that it is not manufactured to a high standard.

Had this with the shield and they make a great pair.Well made and nice detailing. Great for dress up fun

Goes very nicely with the shield, matching symbols and colours. Surprisingly expensive looking but I still think the price is a bit high for just the cape.

I was sent this product as part of the amazon vine programme with the shield which is a separate product. I was actually quite surprised with the quality of this product. The colours are bright and it came on a coat hanger. The cape on its own is £16.97 so when you add the other products to make the full costume (shield, crown and sword) it turns into a pretty expensive costume.The stitching and velcro fastening seem of good quality and my son is already having lots of fun with it.

This is a really well made and great quality cape. The colour is nice and bright as is the printed design. The material is silky so reallt easy to wash
