What is the blue little handle for?

If I'm looking at the right thing.. it's a cap for the scissors

Why dont they have other colors in this set i cant find lilac anywhere. Does anyone know who sells it like that

I believe it’s now this color because it matches the new model released. Some independent craft stores still have the original colored ones.
