Bought 3 of theses!
I ordered 3 of these personal alarms for myself and my daughters! They are very cute and seems to work well after testing them! Best to always be safe out there!

A little hard to use, but surprise may help deter crime in progress
The media could not be loaded. Crime is on the rise in my neighborhood and recently I’ve felt unsafe walking by myself, occasionally even during the day . I’m not 100% convinced this will actually scare off a mugger … it seems fairly loud when tested indoors, but outside it might not even be noticed in conjunction with ambient street noise, traffic, etc. The light is bright and the strobe feature may be effective, especially if used at night, by adding the element of surprise to interrupt a criminal in action, but pulling the pin is awkward and takes a degree of effort that might not be feasible during an attack. Lots of photos show people with these devices clipped to their purse or backpack, but that’s one of the first things robbers will take from you, so it doesn’t seem to be an effective strategy. Probably carrying it in one hand with one finger of the opposite hand ready to pull the ring would likely be the most successful technique, but who wants to live like that? I bought this to feel safer, but I’m not convinced. Hoping I never have to find out — in the mean time, it’s a handy light. It recharges, so that’s a plus, and it comes with a variety of clip options, so I may keep it on my key chain or simply keep it in a jeans pocket or hooked to a belt loop if out for a walk. Pepper spray probably would be more effective in an attack, but that increases the odds of something backfiring or the situation escalating. It’s a crazy world… might as well take precautions… but don’t let having a device like this give you a false sense of security. These devices may help draw attention to your plight, but situational awareness and avoiding dangerous circumstances in the first place seem to be the best crime prevention strategy.

Very easy-to-carry and use safety device!
Never hurts to have easy-to-carry safety devices available to you immediately! This is the best personal safety alarm I have reviewed. The color is nice and the alarm doesn't stand out on your keychain. The LED flashlight is nice to have, I recently used it to read a restaurant menu, and the strobe light is decent and could certainly throw a mugger off course and give you some time to react as between the alarm and strobe light you will attract attention and you have nothing to lose when trying to protect yourself. To turn either on you just push the grey button on the back of the unit. To use the alarm you just pull the top ring up and it separates from the unit. To stop the alarm, put the clip back in. I like that you can put your finger through the clip ring and keep it there and should you need the alarm it is as easy as popping your finger upward, the alarm will sound and the ring will stay on your finger. I am also giving it a star because the website actually shows how this works and sounds in a video as many others do not. I always look for a company-posted video. Another plus for this one it has a rechargeable battery which makes it easy to charge in your car while driving or at home. It also has a low battery reminder. One black carabiner plus one stylish brass metal keychain lock clip is included so you can choose how to connect this to your keyring. 130dB is equivalent to being at a VERY loud rock concert where your ears are ringing for a while after leaving. Your car horn is roughly 110 dB.
