Excellent product
Excellent product, very easy to lay. We bought it to cover new carpets in a house whilst moving in all our boxes and furniture. We lifted it off the carpets and it hasn't left any residue. I would but again.

super sticky, slightly tricky
Bought this because a friend had used it to protect the floor when decorating the whole house and it is indeed a marvellous product. It is somehow non slip on the top surface and super grippy on the carpet underneath but without leaving any residue after uplift. What I would say though is that it takes 2 to put down and I only had me so it was like fighting an anaconda to work it around the edges of the room or cut small pieces off. Image the way you wrestle with sellotape at Christmas, trying to find the end, and trying not to bend it over itself then scale up the problem from 2 cm wide to 60 cm wide and you'll have an idea of how tricky it is to handle. Get a friend to help though and I am sure you will be delighted.

Destroyed my new carpet
My Use: Protecting a newly fitted carpet from touching up the paintwork of slightly marked skirting board after the carpet had been fitted.Initially this was quite easy to put down, it is forgivable in the sense that if you've just put it down you can pull it back up and re-fit it. This was important for me because I needed to get as close to the skirting board as possible. I put this down around the perimeter of the room and after painting left if for a day before removing it. I then started to slowly pull it up and I noticed in parts it was really stuck down. I then noticed the carpet had some of its pile pulled out completely, and partially - meaning there were large amounts of half pulled out pile giving a very uneven texture on the carpet.Obviously I was livid, the carpet looked brand new and fresh a day ago and now looked like rubbish. I had to actually get down to the carpet and try and even the pile out by giving a sort of hair cut with a sharp pair of scissors but this was able to disguise the disaster a little bit. I bought the largest roll of this because the whole house requires renovation, what a waste of money. This was an expensive carpet, if you have loop pile or something like that then the product might be okay, but frankly I would say this is simply not worth the risk.Instead of wasting my money on this product, I went down to my local charity shop and bought some thick heavy curtains for £3. Cheaper, easier to use and - doesn't ruin your carpet.

Good but it didn’t stick properly to the ground
Overall a good product however the stickiness of the product wasn’t that good and I would also say if putting it on carpet it doesn’t always stick to the ground.
