Acctim Controller Radio Controlled Wall Clock, 30cm, 12-Inch Diameter, Home/Kitchen/Office/Study/School Clock

I have fitted this clock in the bathroom as it is easy to see, looks great and radio controlled. This means that the time displayed is always accurate. I thorougly recommend this very favourably priced clock.

Nice big clock with easy to read face and if like me your eyes are not what they were a few years ago, then this is the clock for you. I already have two digital radio controlled clocks, but this is the first radio controlled Analogue clock that I have owned. Since they moved the 60kHz MSF transmitter from Rugby to Anthorn in Cumbriar, the signal here in the South has not been so reliable and there have been times when my other radio controlled clocks have not received a control signal during the daytime. The Acctim Controller on the other hand, has had no such problems with receiving the 60kHz MSF signal. It's a bit disconcerting as sometimes you think the battery needs replacing because the clock has stopped, but it just the clock updating itself. It's a nice clock although you would have thought that for the money they would have supplied a battery for it (I would have given it 5 stars had they included the battery) - just stick an AA battery in it and forget it.

I needed a kitchen clock with easy to read numbers and this one fitted the bill. I thought it a little expensive at the time, but was willing to pay the price as it is radio controlled. I am extremely happy with this clock as I know I can rely on the time being correct. Its exactly what I wanted. It is now 21 months since I bought this clock and only this morning I noticed it had stopped at 3.15. I took it off the wall, replaced the battery and straight away it did it's rotating fingers act and stopped at the correct time of 10 o' clock. I see one or two reviewers say that it doesn't auto update or is erratic. I can only say that I have not had a problem with mine, it updates itself automatically every time and I am just as happy with it now as I was when I first purchased it. I also think that battery life of 21 months (a cheap battery) is very economical. I would definitely recommend this clock and if I needed another, I would have no hesitation in purchasing a second one.

I love radio controled clocks, so when I needed another tis Actim was perfect. One amusing thing on the day I bought it put the battery in and it did not get the signal starting to worry was it faulty, checked the MSF signal maintenance schedule and it was the day signal was off for maintenance. At the time signal was due back on the clock ste to the right time.

Nice big clear numbers. In good contrast with background. Set itself to the correct time as soon as I put batteries in. Been up a few weeks now and, so far, has kept excellent time. Its 30 cms diameter (nearly a foot) so can be seen easily. Therefore is easy to read. In the star ratings I was asked to rate "sheerness"? I thought that was a place in Kent? Great clock and looks good in our new kitchen. I would recommend this product.

This clock have extremely large figures, with a sweeping hand, no need to worry about power cuts, run on battery, no need to worry about adjusting time difference, as the clock does it self, i think that it was money well spent.

May require to be moved near an external window if you have a poor signal in it's normal location

The clock stopped working after 6 months and there does not seem to be any way for me to return it for replacement because Amazon only allow 30 days for return

Por ahora, perfecto. Lo he podido sicronizar a través del móvil con la señal MSF, pillando el horario inglés que es el mismo que en mi ubicación, Canarias. que es la razón de su compra.

Die positiven Punkte lassen sich leicht zusammenfassen: ' Verpackung ' Materialanmutung ' Design Sind allesamt gut, die Uhr vermittelt einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Warum mich die Uhr enttäuscht hat? Trotz verschiedener Versuche wie: Zurücksetzen, unterschiedliche Standorte auswählen, unterschiedliche Batterien ausprobieren, konnte ich keinen verlässlichen Zeitabgleich bewerkstelligen. Die Uhr lief permanent eine Stunde hinter der tatsächlichen Zeit. Das zwar sekundengenau, hilfreich ist das trotzdem nicht.

Une très belle horloge, finition soignée et moderne, emballage et livraison nickel...Je possédais déjà une horloge radio pilotée achetée en France mais payée beaucoup plus chère. Je pensais faire une bonne affaire mais au final, cette horloge capte uniquement le signal de Cumbria (Angleterre) donc elle affiche l'heure de Londres soit une heure plus tôt que Paris... Grosse déception... Pour mon prochain achat je penserai à vérifier que le boitier radio puisse capter plusieurs signaux, dont celui de l'Allemagne dont nous dépendons.

Mêmes commentaires que PGG Décalage d'une heure impossible à régler. L'horloge capte uniquement le signal de Cumbria (Angleterre) Dommage que ce ne soit pas signaler dans le descriptif ce qui m'aurait évité cet achat inutile Très déçu
