Fisher Price Classic.
We have one of these Fisher price clocks that we brought for our son almost 40 years ago and it is still working, so when we had a new granddaughter recently we were delighted to find that they are still in production and that we could get one for her.I love the fact that still, after all these years, Fisher Price have stuck with the original tune of "My Grandfathers Clock"A lovely toy/musical item that can be treasured for years.

They all like it.
Stops all my patients of every age from crying.I'm a practice nurse. So I upset quite a few babies, toddlers and adults.I have had this since March 2012. It has been to quite a few different surgeries with me in that time. It has been dropped many a time, wiped down with cliniwipes after each patient and has kept many patients occupied and settled down quite a few too. It's far more robust than it looks. The babies and toddlers don't find it boring on the contrary they like it because it is different. No flashy lights, no buttons to press, no fancy bits. Wind up, listen to the music, watch for the little pictures on the clock face and turn the clock hands if you want. Has made many a baby dribble with glee. Many of the parents seem to like it too.

its still clockwork
I had this toy as a child and loved it as did my brother. We dragged threw it and abused it all through the 70s as only kids can. I lived well. This said I must say that i haven't had it out the box yet as its a christmas present BUT this is the 2nd one i received. The first was damaged within the box and that is how i know to tell you that the build will not be as durable. It's obviously plastic wrapped in paper stickers (as they had been scrapped back by the retaining straps) it looks like it dents easily and the dial looks like a bit of flimsy piece of card. Now for the good: It is still clockwork and NOT batteries required (unlike the FP classic record player) and it still plays the same original tunes.I think if this was a totally new product it would have problems at this price and FP are obviously looking for nostalgics like me to fork out £30 for itI will update or replace this once my 2 yr old has had it for a month. PS I'm giving it the 4th star with reservations

Nice toy
My 18 month grandson is obsessed with clocks and loves this. He can’t wind it up yet but still enjoys listening to the tune of “My Grandfathers clock “

Awful quality
I bought this for my two year old grandson. I was disappointed with the appearance of the item. It looked very cheap and not at all like the sturdy toys my daughter used to have as a child. My fears were justified as this item broke after only one day of play. My grandson is usually very careful with his toys and not boisterous at all but this item broke very quickly. Very sad to think that I can no longer trust this company to produce well made, interesting toys for children.

Reasonably robust musical clock
Bought for an older autistic child who loves playing Hickory Dickory Dock - quite robust and would be ideal for the age of children specified.
