59/S31 Bit Set, 31 Piece

Perfect product for a reasonable price

I've bought, a couple of Bahco socket sets before and been really pleased with the quality. I've also had, from various brands and in various drill bit kits, tool kits and the like, a number of 'bit sets' of varying quality. These various sets all seem to be incomplete though! I either take something out to use it, then forget to put it back for it to forever languish in the shed (or more likely the boot of the car), or the most popular and commonly used bits gets worn and are discarded. So I thought I'd buy a 'purpose built' bit set, rather than use the odds and sods I seem to have accumulated, so because I've been impressed with Bahco before, that's what I went for. Slightly disappointed that it says 'Made in China' on the box, but it does seem to be good quality and the quick release bit holder is very useful. There's enough variety in there for most sizes and uses, and multiple bits of the most often used.

The bits are absolutely perfect - my only negative note for this review is the bit holder they can be held with. It's too short and small to be of any use; you have no leverage, so any screws tighter than something you could undo with your hand are going to be a futile attempt (as I quickly found out). HOWEVER the bits are of excellent quality and variety meaning this could be fantastic for bits (pun intended) and pieces around the house or furniture from Ikea as I used it for. If you are purchasing this you MUST get a proper handle from Bahco for the pieces and this set will last you a lifetime and be of great use for every situation! Highly recommend.

Good set of bits, useful types and sizes, with usual Bahco quality. 99% of the time, I use PZ2, but I bought this set for the rare occasion I need something else. The set, unusually, contains PHxG bits, which you really don't see very often in kits (drywall screws). These are shallower than standard PH screws bits. Case is OK, but I didn't realise it has a belt hook on the back. First thing I did was get out the Dremel and cut it off, lol. Recommended.

I love Bahco stuff, it's usually excellent, this cheap bit kit is pretty good...the little extension bar thingy has a release collar which was prone to sticking when a bit was inserted so removal of bit was hard... I dropped in some oild and spun the collar around a few times and that sorted it out. I suspect these are made in China for Bahco but that's just a guess. For the price they're fine.

Lovely little set. Certainly a good buy for the price. One of the best comprehensive sets with just what you need, in fact more than one of what you need and not loads of what you don't need

Great product at little cost, use em nearly every day, very durable, used in a drill to install fencing as I have no impact driver and no problem with them
