This book has a very good balance between advanced and general material. It is a great first step for those who want to get to a deeper knowledge on the subject. I'll recommend it for anyone that needs to learn it for school, you have a job/business related or just interested in learn something new.

The author claims that it can be read by a lay person to understand the science . Not true .The author quickly delves into technical jargon and difficult theories without customizing for lay people but who are interested in the subject .

Great read, the author was able to explain all of the concepts on a very concise and easy to digest approach.

I wanted to understand wireless communication technologies at a deeper level than a typical IT professional but not as deep as an engineer. The book accomplished this goal. I can now look at any cell phone, cell tower, WiFi device, or Bluetooth device and understand the fundamental principles behind its operation.
