Cyelee CAT PRO Shake Awake Micro Red Dot Sight, 3MOA Reflex Sight for RMS/RMSC Footprint Optics Ready Pistol

This optic has yet to fail me even after over 2 years of having this. I’ve kept the same battery in since the beginning which is exceptional when it comes to the battery life. The overall adjustments and ease of use is what makes this optic compete with the higher end brands. This is easily a good optic to buy if you’re looking for more of the budget version that has a lot of value for the money that we’re paying for. This also helps with my astigmatism which makes it a plus.

I’ve had this optic since April. I have shot over 1,000 rounds, been in a motorcycle accident, and daily carry it and was still on perfect zero at the range this morning. I can’t say how incredible and surprised I have been with the performance with this. It sits maybe 2mm wider than my Glock 43x and is top quality that’s comparable to the Holosun optics. Lens glare is nonexistent, zero stays reliably on target, and is extremely user friendly. Cannot possibly recommend this optic enough, especially if you’re thinking of dropping $400 on the holosun. Will be the best choice you’ll make.

Bought the cyelee cat pro October 2023 for my hellcat osp. I still have it and it's staying. Thousands of rounds and and it's still working flawlessly. I just bought 2 xdm elite 3.8 9mm for my son and myself and the cat pro will be housed on them. Great price and product. The best thing about it is that no base plate was needed so it sit flush and does not extend past the frame itself. Thats what sold me.

This sight has all that I needed to match up with a Glock 43X MOS that I just purchased. The sight came with quite a few packets of different mounting screws, so the initial installation was a breeze. The MOS version of this gun does not require a "mounting plate" if you buy the RMs footprint version of the sight and there in was the root of a minor problem that I encountered-- not with the sight-- but with me and the operation of the weapon and subsequent "fix". I had not fired this gun prior to installing the sight, so when I fired my first couple of rounds I had multiple "extraction issues" where the case would not eject, coming only out of the barrel 1/2 way and jamming with the next bullet from the magazine. I contacted the "Glock people" back at home thinking it was a "gun problem"; but it was suggested to me to change out the "Right mounting screw" of the sight with a little shorter screw or to file down a millimeter or so the existing screw as they have had similar issues with that screw interefering with the "extraction mechcanism" of MOS type guns. I don't speak "mm", so I replaced the right hand 5 x 10mm screw I had used with a 5 x 8.6 mm screw from the trusty packets of screws provided by Cyelee-- and problem solved! I have yet to "sight in" the gun as I had to leave the range early after verifying that the problem was solved-- hence the 4 star rating--but I will follow up later and expect a 5 will come-- the sight does everything that it is suppose to do- shake awake, correct reticle brightness and adjustment, and side battery replacemment port. I just need to verify its ability to adjust to zero and keep it before I change the rating.

Solid optic. Easy to adjust, simple to mount. Looks great on G43. Optic quality through glass is very clear, the red dot is a crisp dot. The clarity is amazing Brightness adjustment is quick. Tools provided for dot adjustment These are solid red dots and very affordable compared to the big names we thing are better. Lots of video's out there on the abuse these can take. They stand by their products, call or email them, they reply quick and always ready to help

Update: The dot seemed to hold zero fine after a few hundred rounds. The problem I had was the dot wouldn't wake up. It did for the first day, but then I would have to pull the battery to get it working again. No, I did not turn the dot off. It was on in standby mode. It seemed like a decent dot and maybe I just received a dud. I returned it. This was for one of my carry guns and now there is a trust issue. Your mileage may vary. This is replacing a CT RAD micro that cracked. One thing I didn't realize when I bought the CT was the auto brightness would be a detriment. So I was looking for manual brightness, auto wake, sturdy build. The battery being side loaded was a bonus. I received the dot and installed it, got it sighted with a bore sight. It came with four sets of screws and is one of the few dots with the right screws for the shield plus. Then I went to the range to test and sight it in. There is very little tactile feel when turning the site screws. Once the dot was sighted I shot 200 rounds through the shield plus. It maintained zero and honestly this was the best I have shot with that little gun. One of the things that the CT would encounter. As you shoot the lense would get dirty and the CT would take that as the room was darker. So the dot would get darker and darker. Loved the fact that even thought this dot was dirty it was still bright. Speaking of bright. This has to be the brightest dot I have ever seen. I'm older and this sure helps. If this dot holds up, it's a total win. Also, I can still cowitness with the original sites on the shield plus. The negatives are no tactile or clicking while adjusting. No cover was included. Not sure how the longevity will be. I will update if anything changes. Wish they had a green version for my astigmatism.
