Superb, practical and relevant
All your books are superb and have such practical relevance to the children that I work with. I look forward to trailing this with them...I have the specific children in mind that I want to target! All children should relate closely to the wonderful way you have phrased your guidance and instructions.

Helpful resource
This book is written in an accessible easy for children and young people. It uses wording that makes sense without being overcomplicated and offers a range of strategies to try.

It's ok, but probably better for older children
The book is printed in black and white, which does nothing to hold the attention of younger children. The language is also very targeted towards a US/Canada audience and come across somewhat awkward for a UK child. It's probably more suited to those 8 and above

Good book however
Good book and bought second hand. Was expecting defects as it did have writing in it. However there was some vouchers left inside the book. Not sure of it was intentional or the seller didn't check the book before selling and was put inside from previous owner as book marks.

Easy and quick and full of tools
This was a great book. If you have a younger kid you can read it with them but if your kids is older, you can use it as a source for gathering tools you can introduce to your child for when they get upset. What's so great about this book -- besides the fact that it's easy to read, written well (and in a fun style for kids) -- is that it's not a parenting how-to book but rather a book that offers tools for kids that they can use themselves. The tools offered are good for parents who are quick to anger too!

Love this book
I read the first chapter some pretty good I got it for my 4 year old son so the practices are simple and I agree it’s for younger kids. Teaching you to breath pretend to blow a bubble and teaches you sentences to use and think of to help you when you feel mad frustrated . I will try to read it to my 4 yr old and if he loses interests because it’s paragraphs of sentences with little illustrations in black and white I will just try to paraphrase it to make it shorter or ask him questions in the middle of paragraphs. I recommend .

Great Addition!
I am so glad to have found this book! It is an amazing addition to my son's collection. It's also a very easy read for both he and I and also are appropriate (just the right amount of illustrations for a 12 yr old) As soon as it came in we started into it. It's a plus that it aligns with his current therapy and I've even recommended it to a few counselors already! Order it!
