Labyrinth The Movie Board Game

What a find this was. My wife and daughter are huge fans of the film and we were looking for a game to play as a family. This was a bit complicated to play the first few times but once you're into it, it's a good fun game. It's easy to lose the game as well so you don't always win and promotes good team work. All of the contents in the box are premium, it's a very well made game with a sturdy board, well made characters which could be kept as collectibles and a good explanatory book of instructions. Keep it nice if you buy it, it's resale value can go up!

Not a particularly complicated game, but a great introduction to more complex stuff for kids. My 9 year old niece absolutely loves it. It takes about an hour to set up and play, and the rules are easy enough for kids to get stuck in straight away. For older fans of the film, there’s enough little touches that will keep you happy and make up for the game’s simplicity. The board, cards, and figures are all well made, and the artwork is lovely. Highly recommended.

Brought as a gift for the wife. Actually really fun to play and pretty easy to pick up. I usually prefer action packed board games with lots of monsters, but really enjoyed playing this one.

Was brought as a gift for my fiance as she is a fan of the film. We hado it come yesterday and played it once so far. It's really enjoyable and hard to beat but in a fun way. We managed to beat Jareth with one hour left and thank god my fiance knew the poem by heart. Great fun cant wait give this another game

A birthday gift from a friend. I'd say the average play time needed is around 2 hours give or take and it's quite fun. with all the parts, tokens and figures it can look complex but once you play though once it's actually fairly simple.

The board and characters are stunning and well made. The game concept is good but a little tricky. We loved playing as a family. Would recommend to big Labyrinth fans for sure.

Very enjoyable game that I played with my wife & 2 kids (both 5 yrs old). Very simple rules and easy to understand. You play cooperatively rather than against each other to get to the castle and defeat the Goblin King. The game itself lasted about 80 mins and has lots of fun references to the the film, including parts where you have to sing the lines back to "Dance Magic Dance" The game itself I would give 4 stars, but the board that it came with is made poorly and doesn't sit flat on the table. This also makes it tricky for the cards/characters to stay flat. I'm not sure if there are different editions for this and this is just a flaw with a certain print. (Mine was purchased Jan 18). The final boss goblins that you battle are just bits of card and don't match the quality of the rest of the game. That aside I would definitely recommend this to any Labyrinth fan or someone who likes family board games.

ha cumplido mis espectativas, mi caso más por coleccionismo que para jugarlo. Pero es ideal para jugar en familia con niños.. es una mezcla entre una oca común con pinceladas de Roll.. y cosas guapas, que has tenido que ver la peli para contestar y ganar.. yo me quedé muy contento.. con respecto a que viene obvio en inglés, no importa demasiado.. Uno, porque así se práctica, que nunca está demás.m y Dos, porque ya han explicado como se juega en Youtube, en castellano !! Muy recomendable !!

The creators of this game did an amazing job. The art work, creativity and character game pieces are perfect. I'll need to look into painting the character pieces at some point. I was so excited to play the board game the day it arrived. After opening it looked super complicated but the instruction book was well laid out. We got ourselves set up and figured the rules out as we played. It is such a perfect idea you are racing against time to make it through the labrynth. I thought it would be a piece of cake, turned out I had to make a last ditch effort to save Tobi from being turned into a goblin in the final hour. Both my husband and I were impressed with the game he isn't a labrynth fan like I am, but he said would definitely play this game again. I bought a second game for a friends birthday gift, she and I are big big Labyrinth fans. This game will make her squeal with delight as her birthday parties theme is a Labyrinth masqarade ball. 🙂

This is a really fantastic game. If you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons and Forbidden Island/Desert, this is almost like a mashup of the two. The game plays out pretty much with players trying to get closer to each other and "improving" their character's traits without getting knocked out of the game. Rules seem complex at the start but actually work out to be fairly simple once you've had a round of play. And if you're a fan of the movie, it plays true to the story. It very much resembles Walking Dead Risk in this way: Being reminiscent of the story in the way the game unfolds. Players can choose to team up which has pros and cons or stay separate to achieve certain goals. In the end, it works out better if you're together (just like the movie!) and you have more choice when fighting the Elf King in the end. And yes, David Bowie's character replica also has a noticeable bulge. The game doesn't take long to get through, probably 20-40 minutes of play time depending one ages and attention to the game. All the pieces are well crafted and the level of skill required is fairly open. Lots of fan service in a way that's meaningful to the gameplay and all around fun for everyone. Jim Henson and Bowie would be proud.
