Sticking triggers
Seemed great it feels brilliant way better then the joy cons or the split pad I tried but the problem is that the triggers stick. They seemed to have an intermittent issue at first but now they stick constantly. I played wreckfest and, when I want to stop accelerating, I have to pull the trigger out. Really poor quality sadly.

Excelente compra !
El control Retropad es de muy alta calidad. Ideal para jugar Smash en la cama o en el avión. Se siente como el Switch pro controller pero en modo portátil. Jamás regresare a los joycons. JAMÁS.

I chose this because...
I ordered this Retroflag Switch Handheld along with the NexiGo Gripcon. I couldn't decide between the 2, but knew that the Nitro Deck wouldn't work for me due to the location of the R-stick.My only 2 "requirements" were; 1: Rumble, and 2: Gyro/motion control. Both models also feature hall effect joysticks, but even this wasn't really a prerequisite as we keep a pretty clean house and don't experience the problems associated with dirty controllers. I also didn't need this to be "travel sized", as I'm only using it for home handheld mode. The joysticks worked awesome on both models. I really liked the adjustable height options of the NexiGo, but the Retroflag stock config feels great as well. The hall effect joysticks in BOTH models are more precise than stock joycons, particularly in the region were you just begin to move the sticks off of their resting center-point. Feels like my old PS3 controller, really. The NexiGo Gripcon, however, failed to reliably connect at the USB-C. It would slide right in to place, but no connection. Sure, I could wiggle it and get it to work, but this seemed like an issue that was likely to become more problematic over time. The NexiGo Gripcon also has a much larger, hollow/cheap feel compared to the Retroflag. Another big strike against the NexiGo Gripcon are the obnoxious rear paddle/turbo buttons. So annoying and ever-present.So the Retroflag won-out because it was easier to live with. Solid feel, reliable USB-C connection, and large enough to improve ergonomics vs the original joycons. The Retroflag was clearly designed by people who are old enough to remember what a quality controller should "feel" like. It's not THAT good, but Retroflag was functioning on a higher standard here. It seems like the NexiGo Gripcon was designed by a marketing team who knew just exactly which features to include to attract a certain percentage of the market. I would pay $100 for the Retroflag. I don't think I would even use the NexiGo Gripcon if it was given to me.

A Must-Buy for Portable Gamers!
I have owned a Nintendo Switch since launch in 2017. Since then, I have tried every Joy-Con alternative out there, both licensed and unlicensed. This RetroFlag controller is by far the best alternative I have found to date! Prior to purchasing this, I was using the Nyxi Athena controllers, which unfortunately began to suffer from drift, as well as a sticking right trigger button. This controller is a solid, single piece; not split controllers. This makes your Switch feel hefty and premium. Some may not like the added weight, but I personally love it.Pros:Excellent build quality (feels very “premium”).Tactile buttons.Grippy and responsive joysticks. No input lag.Hefty weight.Rumble & motion controls.Gamecube inspired.Hall effect joysticks (no drifting!).Cons:Controller is not texturized, but rather smooth and slippery. The ZR trigger does not feel as tactile as the LR trigger. The L&R buttons have different sounding tactile clicks.Cannot wake the Switch.Portable only.Overall, definitely worth a buy! I have used around 20 different controllers to date, and these are my favorite by a landslide.

Great Product, Very Happy
Quite impressed with the build quality. Buttons feel responsive, product itself feels solid and it looks great. The retro N64 style is well done. Customer service was also great. Very happy so far.
