Helly-Hansen Womens Aden Down Waterproof Parka Jacket

I love this jacket! I ordered it along with the North Face ThermoBall Parka and Gotham Parka. ThermoBall was far too shiny and lightweight, felt more faddish than functional, while Gotham also felt too lightweight and fabric didn't feel like it would repel rain. I really liked the fur on this jacket, plus it was very very warm. It felt like a parka should. I am 5'4 and this comes right above my knee. The fabric repels rain well. I wear an L but ordered XL as I often will wear a hoodie or thick sweater layers. XL has been perfect for that need so if you tend to wear thicker layers I would suggest a size up. I wanted something more on the athletic/practical side than fashionable and I feel like this meets the practical needs while not being ugly either. I do wish the pocket opening was larger.

This coat fits great and is super warm. Also very stylish. The perfect winter coat. I normally tend to wear a small, but purchased a medium because you want it to be plenty roomy and not tight on your legs.

Very disappointed with this expensive and supposedly high quality brand. Purchased as a gift for college student going abroad and the seams ripped inside one of the sleeves and on inside of jacket after first week of wearing it. I had no time to return it because of travel dates so had to bring to seamstress to fix in time for trip and paid another $50. I do not recommend this brand, very disappointed!

This coat is one of the many mid-length, black, down-filled coats on the market. Among the features I like are: -its light weight (great for traveling, especially if you find yourself carrying the coat through an airport) -its shape (I am on the petite side, and the XS hits just above my knees, and the overall shape of the coat is gently A-line rather than a box) - its hood (it take a very strong wind in just the right direction to blow the hood down, something that is not a given in all similar-looking coats; you do not need a hat if you wear the hood -- it is that good) - its neck (fully zipped, it does not feel like it's strangling you -- which is a good thing, because the hood stays up better when the coat is fully zipped) - its warmth (although the arms seem not as giving of warmth as the rest of the coat, this might even be an advantage if you are engaged in a heat-generating activity such as shoveling) - perfectly placed deep pockets that close via zipper The two downsides, both minor: - the color options are limited (when I ordered, the coat was available only in black, although red existed at least in theory; would love to see this in navy or a leafy green) - the zipper sometimes catches (to prevent this, zip up slowly, taking care to keep the opposite sides of the coat from collapsing on the zipper when you zip up; I almost returned the coat because of this problem, until I figured out how to prevent it)

We actually came across this brand at Epcot center in the Scandinavian area. When I got home, I decided to check Amazon for a great price on a HH winter jacket. I am VERY impressed. I am 5'10" and this jacket is mid-thigh for me. The material is very durable (has survived my lab jumping up to greet me time after time.) It's also very warm but not so thick that I look like a snowman. Great jacket! Very impressed!

Excellent jacket - well built, thoughtfully designed, and most importantly - warm. Purchased for my wife as a Christmas present and she has been thrilled with the jacket. Received an excellent deal from Amazon on the purchase, and could not be happier with the experience. (Purchased a size Small for wearer with height of 5'3")

I ordered this just before we dropped below 0 degrees. I am so glad I did! This jacket kept me so warm that the cold weather did not bother me one bit. I did get a bit too warm while waiting inside for my son to gather his things and head outside. Lesson learned put on the jacket when he is ready to go. I was also concerned with the sizing since I tend to size up when purchasing a jacket. There was no need to size up with this one. I can comfortable wear this with layers including thicker sweaters. And even with the layers it is still very flattering to wear (meaning I don't feel like I look too bulky) I am very glad that I ordered this!

I own several Helly Hansen coats and this is my least favorite. That said I find it very warm and it is well made. My concern is with the sizing. I always buy a small is this specific coat. Have it in an insulated version and rain and this coat just runs big and it doesn't seem to have the quality of my other coats. Big through mid section and the arms are a little out of proportion.

its like I'm wearing a duvet..warm and cozy. ..just make sure it's cold enough. ..or you'll roast. ..only concern is the zipper. ..for that price it should be more sturdy. .

Great quality warm coat

I usually wear a small but sized up to a medium so I could wear a sweater comfortably under the jacket. Love the colour. Love the fit. Love the length. Keeps me warm for the most part, only feel a chill if it's cold and super windy. I would recommend.

No conocia esta marca pero con este abrigo me he convertido en fan de Helly Hansen. 👍👏👏👏Me ha sorprendido mucho para bien! El abrigo es muy cómodo, muy calentito, ligero pero al mismo tiempo gordito, queda muy muy bien...y encima lo compré en oferta por aproximadamente 157€. Realmente no se puede pedir más.🔟👌 ✅El cuello peludito se puede poner y sacar, va abrochado con botones. ✅Los bolsillos tienen cremalleras muy prácticas. ✅Los puños son muy cómodos. ✅Tiene muchos detalles de calidad y lo que más me ha impresionado es que queda muy bien👏👏👏 ✅Casi no pesa ✅Es muy cómodo y calentito ✅La cremallera funciona muy bien y se puede abrir por la parte de arriba o por la de abajo ✅La talla es perfecta (igual un poco grande) queda muy bien, estiliza mucho (sobretodo si estas un poco gordita como yo 😅).
