So I was really skeptical if this would work. I have an old pickup that I start every 2 or 3 years to haul stuff to the dump. I don't run it in-between trips, so the battery is dead most the time. Hooked this pack to the battery and boom! Started that thing up like right now. Unbelievable...Having had that good experience, I took it to a friend's house who lives in a junkyard. The battery was fully charged and we wanted to see how many old cars we could turn over at the speed needed to start that particular vehicle. 12 vehicles! Yes, it worked and worked well...Needed something to jump start my vehicle which seems to have an occasional issue where the battery is too weak to start it up...Happened a few months ago after work, had to get a jump from someone, went to Autozone and everything checked out OK on my vehicle...AnywaysMy vehicle is a 2003 Grand Marquis, over 200k miles, equipped with the 4.6L v8...After sitting for about 10 days, the vehicle wouldnt start the other day, battery would only get a few quick clicks from the starter, both interior and exterior lights would come on, outside temps were in the low 30s daytime, mid teens at night...After the GP3000 was delivered, I made sure to fully charge it before use ( wqs at approx 75%)...Connected it to battery terminals, DID NOT use the boost function just to see if I really needed it, turned the key and the Old Girl fired right up...I realize the battery wasnt super low, but I was impressed that i didnt even need to use the boost feature...Keeping this in the trunk from now on, and getting one for the wife's vehicle...for $65 w/shipping, if it gets you home even one time its a good buy...Feels pretty solid, and it comes with a decent bag to store it and the cables...I give it a good solid 4.5 stars...Knocking off 1/2 star because they could have included a 3a USB plug to go with it for charging (suggested charging rate)...All I had in the house was a 2.4A and it took a few hours to charge 25% to full

I bought this in May of 2022, and promptly forgot that I had it. I went looking for it this afternoon when I discovered the battery on my Camaro was mostly dead and produced nothing but a clicking sound when I tried to start the car. The box hadn’t been opened, but the unit still registered a 75% charge. I plugged it in and let it charge for a bit, but got impatient. Even though the last charge light was still blinking, I decided to give it a try anyway. Hooked it up to the car battery with the jumper cables provided, and the car started right up. Works like a charm. What a great product to have in an emergency!
