I've just received mine, and it says on the back of the product that it is suitable for leg areas only. Why is this?** A: Be careful.I do use them on my arms, but as they have quite a rough finish, if you use them whilst brand new, or too forcefully, you will hurt yourself, whether or your arms or legs. What I do is, gently rub 2 new pads against each other for 1 second or 2 max (it softens them enough so they don't scratch the skin). Then I LIGHTLY buff the hair using a circular motion (you should barely feel it on your skin) As a guideline for a first time use, I would recommend spending about 10-15 seconds on a whole forearm: I would not buff for more than 2 seconds on a single spot. Most of the hair will remain, but it will be severely damaged. The following day, if you feel no irritation whatsoever on your skin, repeat the same procedure (not longer). Eventually, and within a matter of days, the hair will desintegrate and disappear, and then use to maintain the result you desire.If you start feeling any kind of irritation, it means you have either applied too much pressure or spent too long buffing: give your skin a break until all irritation has gone and start again, being more gentle this time.After each buffing session, use a good moisturiser.
