Needed as had to alter the length of cable on a standard lamp with push fit lamp holders. A great little kit which is easy to use and handy to have in the electrical tool box. Used this since on other rewire jobs where a crimped cable end is easier to handle than bare core.

What a cracking tool this is. Recently bought a trailer that needed rewiring, so thought I'd give one of these crimpers a go. Easy to use, well made and every crimp was solid, even when being used to join two wires. I found the yellow plastic wire stripper pretty useless which really wasn't a problem as I had wire strippers anyway. Supplied in a decent storage box with a good selection of crimps, there's nothing to fault, especially for the price.
