I have had several camera slings down through the years and I can say that this is a good as the more expensive ones that I have used.I have used it with my Nikon D800, with motor drive attached and a heavy 500mm Sigma lens, without any discomfort, the shoulder pad is comfortable and doesn't move when raising the camera to the eye.A word of caution and this applies to all cameras and camera slings. SPEND MONEY ON A GOOD QUALITY SAFETY LANYARD, I use a Scaffold Lanyard from Mek Tools Limited in the UK.Would I recommend this Sling... Yes

Received this this morning and I've had it out already! It's very well made and easy to fit the bits together, and to adjust to size. The large shoulder pad stays firmly in place while your camera can be lifted up into the shooting position with ease and no movement at all of the shoulder pad. The safety strap which affixes to the camera and the under-shoulder strap are both added safety features. A super piece of kit and great value for money.

Very pleased with how secure this holds the camera while in use. First cross chest strap I have used and wish I had tried on years ago. No more camera dangling around your neck to contend with. All components feel very sturdy with metal used sensibly in all the key places to give added strength.

I am using this for my recently bought D600. It feels sturdy and the extra strap to attach the camera plate to the sling adds a little more confidence.The shoulder pad feels secure while wearing it and doesn’t slip.Would thoroughly recommend this strap.

I have used various forms of these products over the years, some very expensive and some like this one inexpensive, All have eventually given way where they attach to the strap. I admit that I do carry heavy lenses, often a 500mm or 300mm prime which shortens their life. Make sure you wear the safety strap at all times!!!!. It is the most important part and it works!!! I have used these straps with the ball and socket connection as well, these also give way just as quick, even with regular lubrication. It's a good product in all other ways, just a pity that the camera / lens linkages are so inferior. I modify mine now so it's no problem but beware. If this linkage was of better quality I would award 5 stars.

I prefer to carry my camera cross body rather than around my neck. I’m a large chested woman and that means cross body straps tend to travel and not stay in position. This strap attaches under the arm and stays in place. I recommend this to any woman photographer.

Camera sometimes turns and starts to tangle strapping, but otherwise great for enabling me use two cameras, with the one secure on the strap. Much, much, much more comfortable than the neck strap.

I was a little apprehensive that this sling would deliver what the description stated. However, it works perfectly, very simple to attach and wear. Offers a confident want to carry your camera.
