This water collection barrel has so many great uses! Assembly: The assembly was super easy. I recommend following the instructions no matter how much you think you can do it without them. The instructions are clear and indicate where the seals go. It's easy to put the seal in the wrong spot if you're not reading the instructions. I absolutely love how you actually screw the different parts in. This makes this barrel super sturdy and durable! Water collection: I love how you can put this barrel directly under your gutter to collect the rainwater. I chose to put this closer to my deck for now to have it closer to one of my gardens. I love how easy this is to use. Hook up your hose, and you're recycling water! Great for your garden plants and shrubs! This barrel has had absolutely no leaks. It has held the water from rain just fine. This barrel is a must have tool for anyone tending to their yards and gardens. I never thought I'd actually be looking forward to some heavy rains so I can test out this barrel some more! I highly recommend this!

We decided to get a rainwater barrel to give us a supply of water in the summer for times when need extra water during a drought to water outside container plants. It is not a food safe plastic, so it can’t be used to store drinking water. Also, folks in northern climates need to be sure to empty it in the winter to protect from freezing. I think we are going to store ours in the shed for the winter. It took my husband about an hour to assemble as the parts were clearly marked and included two tools to help with installation. Helpful to read the easily understood instructions. It was a good idea to use an electric screwdriver with the included extra-long drill bit.

I bought this not realizing you had to out this together.. I was skeptical but thought what the heck I'll give it a whirl. I put it together by the directions and tools 😒 it's a lot of screws, I mean a lot. It somewhat buckles when you get to the final screws on each section, but I tried to be optimistic that it was just synching it all together. I filled it to the top and watched it leak at every level.... After troubleshooting and debating on returning, I decided to try a waterproof sealant at each level, which ment unscrewing every single screw, sealing it and reassembling.... I'll update after it dries, but for now, I would not recommend, I could have bought several Black garbage cans with lids and drilled a spout and saved my self the agony of all the screwing!!

This is my third rain barrel design that I've tried out for my garden. I appreciate that the hose is so solidly connected. Other models from other companies I have used come off over time or have leaked. Not this model, the hose is tight. This model is different than other companies because it comes in pieces BUT I think this is actually a good thing because rain barrels need to be cleaned at the end of the gardening season and being able to take it apart will make for easier cleanup. Set up was a little more complicated than I'm used to but the ordee came with a drill bit which sped the assembly process along for us.

Missing seal so does not hold water. Update: quick reply and sent rubber seal as well as 2 extras. Thank you!

Easy to put together, but follow the instructions to make sure it seals properly. Came with drill bit to speed installation. It took about 20 minutes to put together, plus another 10 to attach to downspout. Seals hold well and barrel doesn't leak. Hose valve easy to use and also does not leak.

This barrel leaks at the two seams. This is my second season with this barrel and I had hoped to use Flexseal to seal the leaks. Nope, it didn't work with the paint or the tape. The leaks defeat the entire purpose of having a rain barrel.

This product is a bit deceiving, as I didn’t expect it to require assembly when I ordered it—let alone having four separate sections. These create four potential leak points as the plastic ages, which is concerning given the higher price compared to other complete barrels. Assembly took about 20 minutes and the alignment was decent. The hose fitting connected well and isn’t leaking at the moment, but I have doubts about its longevity due to the gaps between screws and how plastic tends to deteriorate over time.

Quality product with included accessory tools required to assemble. Very thoughtful of them to include an extension part for a drill to work in the angles needed to put it together. Great follow-up customer service from the company.

Don't rate it at all. Parts Don't fit and now I'm left with a barrel that you can't use due to parts failing to fit properly. Now left with junk

Came with a hole in the bottom section, leaked slowly - patched it then screws leaked even when tight, terrible multi part design

The rain barrel leaked along the seams and we had to put waterproofing around the seams. Next time , I would get a barrel already put together. It does successfully collect water now.
