Soon to be a Lifetime limited series! Christie, Dawnโs daughter, searches for her own happiness and break the cycle of darkness that has plagued her family for generations in this book in the Cutler series from #1 New York Times bestselling author V.C. Andrews. Having grown up surrounded by love and safety, thereโs no real reason for Christie Longchamp to feel that a cloud hovers over Cutlerโs Coveโa cloud with origins in her familyโs troubled history. But when Christie discovers the truth about her uncleโs unbrotherly love for her mother Dawn, sheโs desperate to get away. Fleeing to New York City, she finds her real father...a pathetic, helpless has-been. Desperate and heartbroken, she turns to Gavin, her Daddy Jimmyโs young and handsome stepbrother. In his arms, Christie finds a refuge from her painful memories. But all too soon, she is torn from Gavinโs embrace and as black storms of evil gather around her, Christie must do what it takes to defy the curse that has haunted Cutlerโs Cove for generations. Review: Arrived fast - Good quality Review: amazing, even for a new charactors' take - I was surprised when I got to this book and it was just as great as the others were. usually when they get to the next generation the story is kind of boring and tiresome but I loved how Christy had a story that linked with her parents yet it was her own. they didn't bring grandmother cutler back up to taunt her. they brought somebody you hadn't thought could be that way. and they made it a really interesting story with the kids. so much that it stopped irritating you after a while that the parents were no longer there. Great book. Superb series.

Edger than most of the author's previous stories.
This is an older VC Andrews book. I am a reader of all these books. It is a bit on the edger side of the writers since Ms Andrews passing. I will stay a fan always. It is a quick read, at least for me.

Grammatical, this book is a mess. Not sure how it got printed this way. But the story is good. On to #5

One good book
I'm sorry to say this part of the series is over. I have really enjoyed being a part of Dawn and her family's life. I could go on and describe the book and events but that would give the ending away so I will just say this much. Please read the series you will enjoy it I promise.

Great story but my book has a misprint
I am a huge V.C. Andrews fan and I am enjoying the book so far, but in my reading I have come across a pretty big error. My copy of the book is missing page 216 and instead has two pages for 217 (exactly the same). I've never had a book with an issue such as this, a few spelling errors sure, but never duplicated pages. Update: ,I have now finished the book and I found two other issues were pages were missing or in the wrong order. Made for unpleasant reading
