Great reward tool
We use this for our 3-year-old, and it's worked very well! We put it on our door in between the house and the garage, and she puts a star on when she has gotten ready for school on time. In the evening, she loves looking at it and counting her stars. High recommend!

Fun way of getting rewarded for chores
My kids love this star jar! They wana do their chores just so I can add more stars. Once filled we reward with some fun activity or go out for dessert and do on!

Cute behavior chart
Bright colors and good magnet strength without being too difficult for young kids to move.

Just what I needed!
I was thinking about starting a class reward jar but was already frustrated thinking about where to store the jar, what to use to fill it, where to store the filler when it's not in the jar yet, etc. Turns out this is just what I was thinking of!The jar is a great magnet material and looks great on the white board in my classroom. The stars (currently stored in a bucket but could be anywhere) look great inside it. And I love that they are different colors and there are a few big gold ones. So you can associate different colors or the big gold stars with different goals. For my preschoolers, I am setting up a number line and indicating on it what our class goal is. Then as often as they like, we can count the stars in the jar and see how far it is from the goal. Math and classroom management! For older students, you might want to have the gold stars be worth more stars. Then the math gets more complicated as they add and count.Positive reinforcement is a great way to celebrate students' accomplishments and help them feel proud of their hard work. Celebrating the entire class's success helps them to see the good in each other as well, rather than focusing on the few who maybe have a harder time. This makes everyone excited to reach the class goal!
