Homax Easy Patch Aerosol Ceiling Texture, Popcorn, 14 oz

Ok, I’m not the type of people who put review on everything I buy from Amazon. BUT, I had to share my experience with this product.Had a leak from one of the sinks upstairs, ceiling started sagging after a few days. Got a plumber out to fix the leak first. Waited for a month before tackling this eyesore.Cut the dry wall, placed a brace, then wen to HD to purchase few things for the repair, like 2x2 drywall, premixed patching putty, and few other popcorn ceiling texture products (which none worked)!!!I was very skeptical about this one… so I give it a try.. MAN THIS THING WORKS..just make sure you shake the remaining part of your life before using this. I’m serious .. shake the can for at least 2 minutes like there’s no tomorrow..Start with straight lines adjacent to the patch first then work your way to cover the whole thing. THEN ago back one more time and do it 90 degrees to the first pattern.Make sure you put safety glasses, and a tarp the floor as it will snow everywhere.Hope that will help someone!!!

This ceiling texture spray was easy to apply, but it didn’t give as much texture as I was hoping for. It also doesn’t match my existing popcorn ceiling very well, which was disappointing. Works for small touch-ups if you’re not concerned about an exact match, but not ideal for blending into older ceilings.

So I had a toilet leak and some water damage/mold. It was quite a process but this spray popcorn was the last step. You do have to shake the can way longer than the minute stated on the can. It goes on more like a foam but as you can see from the photos, it blends fairly and surprisingly well from afar. If you look closely, you can see that it isn't a perfect match but who really is gonna look that closely? This stuff made a complete mess with over spray but a plastic drape would have fixed that issue. I'm happy with the results and I'd use it again. Only needed one application and I didn't have to paint at all after application! That was the biggest plus of using this product. Hope this was helpful!

Did a great job for a small part of a ceiling that needed replaced.!

1. Shake this bottle well. Like over 10 minutes.2. Less is more.3. Wear a throw away rain poncho.4. Use a wet mop to clean walls, you'll need a pressure washer style shower that evening.5. Did I tell you to shake this product and keep shaking it.6. It actually fixed the look of the ceilings.

Just as the title says:The can does not spray upwards very well. Largely defeating using it for ceilings like the product says.The spay drips a lot and spurts out, meaning that you lose quite a bit of the stuff just to waste.And finally, and worst of all, the can empties VERY quickly. It was out of gas pressure, foam, or both before even doing a 1 ft × 2 ft area. Terrible.

I used this for filling in a small patch after replacing a fluorescent fixture. Worked great. Make sure you read the instructions.
