Measure before you buy!
Washed well and I like that the lid comes apart of easy cleaning. I probably should have measured because it doesn’t fit under myKeurig.

Great leak proof cup
This is to replace a 3 year old Contigo which leaked on and off all the time. This one they got it right for the 20oz version. I wouldn't say it keeps coffee hot for 5 hours but definitely at least 2-3 then it stays luke warm another 2-3 hours. It gets me through the day. It's a nice stainless steel container and the leakproof lids works great and flips open to clean. My wife has the 24oz and loves hers.

6 Reasons for my 5 star rating
Great! I was using a really bad travel mug before getting this. My old one would spill some times (I've had my backpack full of tea on many occasions) and drinking out of it was terrible. So I decided to finally buy a new mug. So far I'm very pleased with this and I'm considering buying a few more so I always have a clean one available.I like to drink tea every morning, but I also have a long commute (car + walking + public transport + walking) so my travel mug gets bounced around a lot. Not only that, but my commute is about a hour and a half. Also, I'm always rushing in the morning, so I need my travel mug ready to go pretty quickly. So here's what I like about this. Also, I got the stainless steal version, not any of the painted ones.1) Super easy to clean! Yes! My old travel mug required me to take rubber rings off and clean them and if I didn't then I'd have mildew in my mug. This one requires nothing except unscrewing the lid and clicking the latch to pop open the inside of the lid. Then I just put the open lid in the top rack of my dishwasher and since I got the stainless steal version, I can also put the rest of the mug in the top rack too. It always comes out clean, no more mildew in my tea! Also, for the times I forget and leave this guy in my backpack over night, hand cleaning isn't so difficult. With the easy clean latch on the lid, I can easily get a sponge in and clean it really well pretty quickly (just a couple minutes).2) It keeps my tea hot! Very hot actually. I can't drink such hot beverages, but also enjoy drinking my tea when it isn't room temperature. This does a a great job at keeping my drink hot. I actually leave the lid off for a few minutes just to cool it down. Even with a hour and a half commute, my tea is steaming hot when I get into the office.3) Ease of drinking! My old travel mug was a pain to drink from. This once makes it really easy and comfortable. The only thing is you have to get used to the pressing the button when wanting to drink. When you don't press the button, no liquid will come out (which prevents spills). You have to get used to how much you want to press it to open the spout. Sometimes when my tea is really hot I press it just a little so I don't burn my whole mouth and once it's cooled enough I press it all the way down to guzzle it down. So it's easy to drink from but the spout release button will take a little time to get used to for perfect control.4) Locking mechanism. I like the simple lock on the top to prevent accidentally pressing the spout release button. This really helps if you have your bottle in your backpack and something hits up against it. I haven't had a spill yet.5) Look and feel is great. Everyone who sees my bottle thinks it looks nice, I think it looks nice. Also, it's very easy to hold and drink from. For stainless steal it isn't slippery either because of the slight curve in the body.6) Durable. I dropped mine running to the train and it got banged up but has held together fine. The metal body now has dings in it but it hasn't hurt the integrity of the bottle itself. The plastic lid did get damaged too but it's to be expected, everything still works perfectly fine. So, I do recommend this travel mug. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend so much on one but the easy clean feature was the key selling point for me and it was well worth it. Wasn't worth saving $5 to have a pain every time I needed to wash my mug.

Almost perfect in design
Have some history with different types of these vacuum sealed tumblers. The Contigo, is pretty good, but has a few slight drawbacks that keep it from being great. There is a learning curve with using this properly as others have mentioned. You have to press the autoseal button before raising the tumbler to your mouth & tipping it to drink (to release pressure build-up). As you drink you can't chug on this. You've got to sip as the lid design doesn't allow for a heavier flow of liquid to pour. When lowering it's important to keep the button pressed in to allow any excess liquid to drain back into the tumbler or you could wear a few drops as there isn't much of a ridge along the lip (like a canned beverage) for the excess to go. So it either needs to go back into the tumbler or on you. I personally have found that dragging your upper lip & slurping slightly as you lower it, with the button still pressed, helps to avoid having too much excess liquid. It sounds more difficult in detailed explanation, but you get it much easier in actual usage & after a while it becomes more natural.Despite the learning curve, it does work well as long as you learn how to properly use it. As I said, it sounds more difficult in written explanation than in actual physical usage. One thing that I think would significantly improve the design would be to widen the small ridge along the lip of the drinking hole to allow the excess liquid a place to go to then flow back into the tumbler easier as you lower it after taking a swig. This might be nitpicking, but I think it would greatly improve the design & functionality. As for the other reviews that complain of leakage through the threaded area between the lid & tumbler, I have not had this problem. But in my experience with other tumblers I can safely say that this is generally due to 3 things. 1) Not properly tightening the lid. Either being not screwed on tight enough or over-tightening the lid (this can cause too much torque on the seal itself, warping the seal). 2) Filling too high, which can easily cause liquid to seap through the seal when the lid is screwed on. I've found that you should never fill above the lowest thread line. 3) In tumblers that utilize a gasket seal, it's possible that the gasket becomes dislodged, especially after being cleaned in the dishwasher. I don't physically see a gasket on this tumbler. Not one that could be dislodged anyway. This is a good thing. The ability to lock the seal is a nice feature that I use when my 2yo daughter is around. But I haven't just tossed it in a bag or something where it could be inverted. I have physically locked it & inverted it & shaken it just to see how well it works & it didn't leak. But I honestly haven't tested this feature it to it's fullest extent.Overall I give it 4 stars. Despite the fact that there is a bit of a learning curve, it does work well. If they increased the ridge around the drinking hole however, this would be worthy of 5 stars as it is an almost perfect design.

Stays hot or cold all day!
Repurchased. Keeps my tea hot all day! Easy to clean all parts. Only downside is my strong lipstick is tough to get off top. Not a deal breaker.
