Loooove it!!!!
Love this machine. I wanted this mainly for display purposes wanted a little gumball machine but I wanted it to match my decor so this gold was perfect. You do have to be careful filling the machine because the glass globe is thin but I have a similar gumball machine (different brand) and the glass is also thin so I was already prepared for that. The only thing is when dispensing gumball, like 3 gumballs comes out at a time if your not careful and there’s nothing to catch them like traditional machines so if your hand is not already under it it is guaranteed to fall on the floor. But I’m fine with it. Like I said I only bought it for appearance anyway and I love it. However wouldn’t recommend for a kid due to the glass globe.

Awful quality, stuck with a piece of junk, WONT LET YOU RETURN
Extremely poor quality, it falls apart constantly, and the internal mechanisms are held together with superglue. Had I known it would be this cheap and flimsy, I wouldn't have even considered buying it. There's a reason it doesn't allow returns, clearly.

Great decor for a child room

Nice looking poor functions.
Mine already broke...glass is extremely thin. It was also impossible to secure the top from the base because it does not lock. Also very complicated to extract just one gum...usually you pushed down and several come down. Better keep is as a decoration. It is cute.

Loved it so much I got one for my husband!
My husband and I got one of these for my father-in-law for Christmas, he is not an easy person to buy for! We filled it with his favorite candy and he LOVED IT! He keeps it on his nightstand and says that it is one of those gifts that he would never have thought to get for himself but that he can't believe how much he loves it! My husband got jealous and since his birthday was just a couple of weeks away and I had already gotten him his gift, I decided to get him one of these as well, he was (needless to say) very delighted. He has had it on his home desk now for 4 months and says that he still loves it as much as the day he first got it. I know that a lot of people have commented that the glass is fragile, of course it is...IT'S GLASS. Neither my husband nor my father-in-law have had any problems except for the fact that it keeps needing to be refilled!!!!! I strongly recommend this as a gift for one of those people in your lives that is always getting what they want when they want it, a wonderful gift idea.

Great for practical use and decor, will break if dropped.
Had this for nearly a year. It works great with small-to-medium-sized gumballs, and it looks fantastic for decoration.Make sure you don't pull a brilliant maneuver like myself and shake the gumballs without securing the top, as the top shatters from any drop height.

GLASS TOO FRAGILE, BREAKS EASILY
I received a similar item as a gift over 15 years ago. It has been a popular item in my home so when I saw this item, decided to gift one to my daughter and sister-in-law. The first one arrived broken in shipment, so I exchanged it. The second one broke in the same spot as was seen in the first one, upon filling it the first time. I should have read all of the reviews which pointed out the same issue of the super thin and fragile glass globe. This is dangerous, as if gone unnoticed, could result in glass fragments being injested or lacerated hands when dispensing candy. I have warned my sister-in-law about this as she hasn't filled hers yet. The one I have has much thicker glass and is very sturdy. It's a novel item, which I have received many favorable comments on mine but perhaps the globe should be made out of plastic or acrylic. Will probably be returning sister-in-law's as well and will not re-order.

Expensive for quality but pretty
Fragile glass (thin). It doesn’t secure on the bottom even if you twist it, so If you lift up at all on the globe part, the candy will fall out. It’s also very small. It’s pretty though.
