Good quality layout paer
I used this to help students to learn the basics of animation as it's ideal for layering images with small changes. Good quality and value

One of the best papers for marker pens
This comes recommended by my course tutor, as we use marker pens for design projects. Sheer paper, 50-75gsm is what is needed for markers, not 150-200gsm which absorbs all of the ink from your markers and bleeds. Good quality pad, good, reputable name, does the job. Suitable for presentation work and layering for deeper tones.

Very useful for bible journaling
I bought this paper to use when bible journaling and I'm very pleased with it. Even though I am careful what pens I use in my bible, sometimes they still leave considerable shadowing on the other side of the page. I now cover shadowing with a piece of this paper when I want to draw or write on that page. Alternatively, I do artwork directly on this paper and glue it into my journaling bible margin. I now keep a few sheets already cut into the right size in my journaling bible. This paper isn't quite as thin and sheer as bible pages, but it is very, very thin paper. Given how thin It is, I've found the paper to be quite strong. (It withstood my little boy's pencil when he borrowed some). It's very smooth paper and feels very nice to draw on. It isn't as sheer as tracing paper, but dark images can be seen through the sheets without a light box. If using a lightbox, this paper allows even pencil lines to be seen and traced.

Good product
This is a very good layout pad. It takes a lot of punishment erasing, etc, but thin enough for sketching and tracing( lightbox needed for detailed tracing ).Very good paper for initial roughs and as an illustrator, I have been using it for years. Also comes in A3 & A2. Good quality, good price.

Brilliant for calligraphy practice
Really nice paper. I have been using this with a dip pen for calligraphy practice and there is no bleed through or feathering of the ink. The paper is thin enough that you can see guide lines through it to keep you on track. Can't say a bad thing about it. Highly recommend.

An excellent paper that is an alternative to tracing paper
An excellent paper that is an alternative to tracing paper. I use this to practice calligraphy and the surface is smooth enough that it doesn't catch on my nibs. Ink flows extremely well on this paper. No need for a lightbox as the paper is thin enough to see through it yet thick enough so that ink doesn't bleed through.

Perfect Design Pad
I've been using these pads for 50+ years, tried others at times but these are the ones that really do it for me. They have the perfect surface for both pen and ink and are so easy to use when tracing/modifying a design even if not using a light box.

Why has the product changed?
We have been buying this product for years and has always been of great quality for sketching. However recently the cardboard appears to be more flimsy and not as hard so makes it more difficult to use. The ones received have the black logo at the top of the A3 pad so we have noticed the difference. wondering if the quality will revert back?
