Thanks for your question. This TDS meter is pre-calibrated in factory, no need calibrate again by customer, we do this to prevent as many calibration related mistakes as possible, and it's easier to use. To maintain the accuracy, it's better to rinse the probe with distilled water after each use. For your mentioned distilled water, it should read 0 ppm theoretically, but in actual application, if you can't keep test condition very clean, it may read 0-2ppm usually.

Q: Can this also check for ph ?

It Does not. It measure TDS , EC and Temperature 3 in 1. PH Meter is another tester.

Q: Has anyone else experienced this reading into the hundreds on very low ppm water after a couple weeks of use? solutions?

Are you rinsing the probe with distilled water after each use and patting it dry, if not, dried solids will build up on the probe and render the measurements inaccurate.
