The Seeing Stone: The Spiderwick Chronicles, Book 2

This book is one of the best books I've read! I love the series and hope to see a sixth book real soon in the library or bookstores or even here! If I could I would rate this series 900,000,000, stars! It's filled with mystery and the right type of magic, it has shocking moments,😯 and moments that leave you stunned,😧 !I can't put these books down and when I got my friend to read the first book, the field guide, she said the same thing! I love this book and rate it 10% out of 10%😄😃😀PsWhen I finished I was so sad I finished it was so so so so so so so sooooooooo good!😃😭😃😭😃😭😃😭

Love this series

The Spiderwick Chronicles continue one afternoon just after school when Simon Grace, while looking for his missing cat at the edge of the yard of the dilapidated estate is dragged into the woods by unseen captors. Jared and Mallory race off in pursuit with a new talisman that allows them to see the fairy creatures they've learned about in the field guide. You'll meet more mythical creatures like trolls, goblins, and hobgoblins (there is a difference) and enjoy more of this clever little tale and Tony DiTerlizzi's wonderful pen and ink drawings. I just wish I'd bought the whole boxed set! I have to wait until pay day to order the next volume; or maybe I should just order them all!

Through this book, you can learn the siblings have different part. Jared seems to enjoy more to the faery world. By persuading, his siblings Simon and Mallory start to understand what Jared see using Arthur Spiderwick's guidance.

This books are so well written considering they are for children, I actually love the fact that the are short and sweet .The reason why the wrote this book just makes it that more magical. I am so glad I decide to reread them, honestly cannot wait to collect the physical copies.

We liked how these books had illustrations in them. Great for reading time with the littles. We also like the length of these books. The only dislike we can think of is the movie - and how there is not more of them :)

My grand daughters truly enjoy all the Spiderwick adventures and so do Papa and I.Wonderfull and magical... great writer.

the book is really nice and let's your imagination to wild. my favourite character is Jared. he is really easy to relate to . the story is also more believable.

I bought this book for my son as he was making his way through the reading of the Spiderwick Chronicles books after watching and enjoying the film. After reading book 1 I got this book for him and he read it in 2 days. He said that it was creepy and that he loved it so can’t say much fairer than that really. Fans of the Spiderwick Chronicles will really enjoy this extension to the universe.

My daughter is a great fan of these books! We read a chapter each night. And we look forward to the next chapter every time.
