Buy something better
The unit's camera rotation is wobbly, and almost stutters at times. The focus is not designed well in my opinion. It's barely audible, which is good but you really shouldn't hear something like this with a good design and casing. Placement of the USB-C port for power wouldn't have been my first choice as it can obstruct the device depending setup. The pictures are nice but you cannot get a full focus of the entire slide. There's no vignette or edge fade on the slides so it's very circular in display, given it's "4K" resolution on the slides that could've been done easily... not going to return it since my cats like it. I'm not a fan of it though, so now looking to buy something better.

GREAT for my little NASA astronaut-in-training!
I got this for my son's 4 year old birthday. He is on the spectrum and his hyperfocus is space. He now has "his stars" every night, and I can switch out the discs so he can have the galaxy, solar system, or the Hubble field read. I don't recommend the black hole disc...This product lost a star because the instructions state you can't leave it on, say, all night because it could damage the discs, but he loves this thing so much it would be nice to leave it on. It also lost a star because it does not project a larger field; it's really only about a 10-12 foot diameter circle, which doesn't cover the ceiling and walls in his room. The timer feature is great though, and the fact that it rotates makes him so excited. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase, I just wish it projected a bigger area

Love this so much!
Love this! My hubs bought me the universe! It’s not too bright it can be used for a night light with a built in nifty timer. Love that I can plus it in no worries about batteries! The kids even tried to steal it already! It’s been dropped a few times and still works great. I love the all black color so that it blends in with the shadows lol.

Image Disks - Only loaded at a time, and the images Turn Green after 2-3 months.
First, this wasn't exactly clear in the pictures/reviews, this shows a single image at a time, like an old Slide Projector.Except to change the slide, you have to physically remove the slide tray, pick a different slide out of a small individual locking boxes, and then insert the slide (right side up) into the tray, then insert the tray into the projector.I also received NO remote control with this projector. I was amused when it asked for a "remote control" review.Additionally, my 4 year old only likes about 1/2 the images. But hey, not a big deal, every 4 year old is different. And every 4 year old is impossible to please really! But, neither of those are 'deal breakers' really. No, the deal breaker IMO is that the image on the slides degrades overtime.Significantly.It loses focus and resolution, so the images get fuzzier and grainier over time. Adjusting the focus does not help, it is image deterioration. And worse still, they start to 'turn green'. Our house's favorite images (Earth, Solar System, Black Hole are now noticably green to the point of distraction. We will not be purchasing this again.

Better options available for less
Ok… let’s be honest… are you buying one of these for a more accurate representation of the galaxy/planets and space or are you buying it for the feeling you get in your room that is almost a soothing, light warm feeling with whimsical lights on the ceiling? If your reasoning is the aforementioned, this is for you. If your goal is the later of the two options- go with a cheaper one. This is not my favorite and has a clear outline of where the projection starts and ends. It’s also a bit hard on the eyes and doesn’t move/rotate enough to notice. Lastly, it’s pain to switch between slides. Other options you literally push a button…
