In two places, the product description says "number of sets - 2". Is this correct?? Does that mean 2 sets of 6 packing cubes?

Are these packers machine washable?

How does compression work if one side is mesh and allows air back into the cube after zipping?

The compression feature on these don't work like vacuum bags- they compress by using the compression zipper on the side which bring the top and bottom of the cube together. This reduces the depth of the bag by half. Some articles of clothing work really great in a compression packing cube- like a puffy jacket, t shirts, etc. Some items, like jeans for instance, really don't work at all as they are very dense and difficult to compress any more.

Great compression cubes

In the past I was very sceptical about compression packing cubes, but these will be great in saving space and organising my suitcase. They are of good quality and a lovely colour. I will not need to unpack them when I get to my destination as I will remove them from my case and put them straight into the drawer. They are a considered purchase, which is why I have given them 4 stars.

Perfect for staying organized!

This set of packing cubes offers the same great quality you get in all of the Tripped Travel Gear products. The fabric is durable and the zippers are strong. The cubes are large enough to hold bulky or larger sized clothing and fit perfectly in a standard size suitcase. This set would be perfect for a ski trip or other cold weather vacation. I love the see-through mesh front so you can see exactly what is in each cube. I machine washed them in cold water, gentle cycle and hung them to dry and they came out looking great and smelling clean. The dusty teal color matches perfectly with my dusty teal toiletry kit so I am now organized and coordinated! I would love to see this same style of packing cubes in a smaller carry-on bag size. Thanks Tripped Travel Gear for another great product!
