Drama based on real events, starring Greg Kinnear as college professor and part-time inventor Robert Kearns, who lives with his large family in 1960s Detroit, home to the US automobile industry. When Bob invents the windscreen wiper, he believes he has hit the jackpot, and proudly presents his innovative idea to the car manufacturers. However, the industry unceremoniously hijacks his idea and fails to acknowledge him as its originator. Despite the power and financial might of the automobile industry, Bob refuses to back down quietly and becomes obsessed with bringing some of America's largest corporations to justice.

Glued to my seat
How did I not hear about this gem until now? This is a great movie from the "old school" - i.e. no fancy CGI, crazy storylines or multi-million dollar budgets. Just a good, true story well acted and filmed. A keeper!
