Worth the money!
Excellent book. I'm a family law attorney, and this is as much a handbook for cross-examining experts as it is for supporting your own expert on direct. I am getting a lot of use out of it. Theories are solid, and I think will work to promote the best interests of the child in most cases. Very thorough and detailed. Also has "cliff note" sections, too.

Absolutely worth every penny
This has been so helpful to me in my work and I've made copies of the charts to do with every case that I work now. I think it is absolutely crucial for those of us that can get caught up in all of the details to realign our priorities and our thinking. Great for organizing our comments for hearings and testifying, as well.

Great summary of important issues
This is a book by three very well respected professionals in the forensic psychology community. The book illustrates nicely some important decisions that must be made in various family law evaluations. It is very helpful for double checking to make sure that I have covered the major issues in my evaluation.

Perhaps this would help an inexperienced evaluator but not helpful to someone with experience in the field.
