Made it possible to mount a Canon c80 onto an RS2 - saved me a fortune!
Extremely happy.. Managed to balance my c80 perfectly, and saves me spashing out £1000 on the new rs4 pro to accomodate the extra bulk that the camera has. .. Very well made, as with all SmallRig coming out at the moment.

This is the baseplate that DJI should be including with the RS2
I bought this baseplate to use my FS5mkII on the RS2, without it I couldn't actually attach the camera because there was only one attachment point (screw thread) on the supplied plate - surely any camera will benefit from two attachment points for stability? - it also allows me move the camera far enough to the right for a true balance even with a shotgun microphone mounted to the FS5 top handle. Also added the same quick release system to my shoulder rig so I can go between the two quickly.

SMALLRIG: Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate (For DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 Gimbal)
This is by far the best quick release plate I've used so far with my SmallRig cage and DJI RS 2 gimbal; it utilises two screws to solidly keep your camera in position and makes it impossible to twist around like you do with plates that rely on just one screw.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a top-quality release plate, you will not regret it.

Just works
Great solution that solves the issue of having one mounting screw.

This should have been standard with the original Ronin.
As always small rig mounts are build to a high standard, and finished in black.A nice touch is the fact the mount actually holds it own flat head screw driver tool, so it’s always available when you want to mount or remove the camera. The mount is very universal and allows for all sorts of cameras to be mounted and positioned off centre if need be. For me I like being able to use a two point contact system with the camera, so that the camera doesn’t rotate off centre during a long day of filming.I love the Arcas Swiss mount, it means a much easier processes for fitting the camera to the Ronin. As I still use the Ronin-S I had to buy a new Mount/Slider plate to go with this to replace OEM one. But I am very happy with the upgrade and will not be upgrading to the Ronin-RSDJI should have come up with this system for the original Ronin-S, it would have saved a lot of people time and money trying to buy adapters to suite their specific camera.

Simple but functional
Does what it says!

Better than the original dji plate
The original dji rs2 plate is pointless. You can’t use it effectively anywhere else. I mean once it’s on your camera it isn’t stable enough to use from tripod to gimbal. This Smallrig plate does a much better job. Obviously it still isn’t stable enough for a heavy camera, but you can easily transition from the gimbal to a tripod with more confidence and control.

This should be provided as default kit with the RS2
Imperative to have, as the double screw design prevents rotation on the plate.
