The Down Head Black Championship Chess Set

I was very pleased with this chess set, I didn't want a full size set but didn't want a small one either and this is the goldilocks size for me. It states that the pieces are weighted but this wasn't particularly noticable. The peices are rusticly carved without being too rough. I like the downhead knight design (so many goofy knight designs out there!) and was especially pleased that my set came with two queens (if only I could get them in-game more often!) which I don't think is mentioned anywhere. My only gripe is that the inside of the storage box is rough bare wood where some felting would have been the icing on the cake - still I couldn't bring myself to dock it a star for this. Recommended!

Slight mark along one corner. Glue coming off the feet also. Pieces are great size though.

Very good came on time and well worth the money
