Tiger Nuts actually are not a nut but a tiny root vegetable overflowing with goodness! 100% organic, gluten-free, lactose-free, nut free, vegan, raw, paleo friendly and high in fibre. Ideal for people with nut allergies, very high in resistant starch and vitamin E, our Tiger Nuts are the perfect super-snack! Tiger Nuts Original are unpeeled. We like them best soaked overnight for a crispier, crunchier texture and taste. Snack or add them to salads, cereals and desserts. These are perfect for making the perfect Horchata, or Tiger Nut milk, a healthy traditional Spanish drink and a great dairy substitute. Horchata is similar to almond or rice milk but we think it is much tastier! When storing your Tiger Nut mylk you will notice a thick residue or sediment. Don't panic! This is normal and its full of good stuff for your gut. Simply stir or shake the container so it mixes back in before drinking. Tiger Nut mylk will keep for 2- 3 days in a fridge, if you haven't drunk it all before then! You can also use the leftover pulp for making delicious high fibre bliss balls, biscuits or porridge. Be creative! Our Tiger Nuts Original can also be used whole in cereals, muesli and salads, or chopped as a tasty topping for yoghurt.

Review: Tiger Nuts - These have a slightly sweet taste and full of fibre. They are chewy so you need to soak them in water for at least 12 hours before eating. You can also eat them out of the pack but they are more crunchy. I have also made tiger nut milk with them which tastes nice.
Review: too dry - you need to keep them in water for a couple of days before attempting to eat them. when you chew them you get a nice taste initially but then they get dry in your mouth and not easy to swallow. I haven't tried putting them into a blender to make milk from them, so can't comment for that kind of use. That would probably be the best way of getting the most out of these.

These have a slightly sweet taste and full of fibre. They are chewy so you need to soak them in water for at least 12 hours before eating. You can also eat them out of the pack but they are more crunchy. I have also made tiger nut milk with them which tastes nice.

you need to keep them in water for a couple of days before attempting to eat them. when you chew them you get a nice taste initially but then they get dry in your mouth and not easy to swallow. I haven't tried putting them into a blender to make milk from them, so can't comment for that kind of use. That would probably be the best way of getting the most out of these.
