this look sjust like the OEM filter
this cabin filter looks like the same material and color of the OEM product. Fits perfectly in the housing. Obviously it was delivered to my door, but was less money than my local automobile supply store whom I have been loyal to for years. I have noticed that the local store prices have gone sky high, but now I will just order on line and not bother with driving to the store.

Perfect Fit, High Performance
The filter is double sealed in plastic to keep dust out during the long ride from manufacturer to you. The filter itself is sealed in plastic and the outer box is also sealed in plastic. It is a perfect fit - make sure you order the one designed to fit your car - they vary by year model. Cabin air filters are always in an awkward location - this one is flexible enough to allow manipulating into place. There is a good deal of "activated carbon" in the filter to enhance it's performance.

Had Odor - Made Car Stink
Fit my Audi A6, but noticed a strong chemical/oil smell the first time I drove my car after installing. Pulled the filter out and smelled it and knew that's where the odor was coming from. Replaced it with another filter from another company and the smell is gone. Don't recommend

No airflow direction, not exactly OEM dimensions
Filter has no airflow direction label, but instructions describe how to install filter while being aware of airflow direction. Product would not fit without sanding down excess glue on the filter frame. Add to that the Audi's superior German Engineering which placed this filter in a most difficult location.

DOES NOT FIT Audi A6 C7 (2012)
Unfortunately, the product is designed with the pleats going the wrong direction. Audi doesn't give enough room to be able to push the filter in straight, so it needs to be able to flex a bit to clear the floor board. If the pleats are horizontal, it's not a problem. But, this product has them going vertical, so you can't actually bend it to install it.
