Rv Keyless Entry Door Lock, 0 to 9 Password, Handle with Integrated LED Keypad and 2 Fobs for Camper with Deadbolt (GEN 2)

This lock was easy to install on my Forest River Surveyor. It looks great on the black glass door of my trailer. Easily fit the opening of the Lippert door.I had an issue with the deadbolt not wanting to retract and contracted support. They replied right away, even after hours and told me to move the wires, as they may have been pinched. The wires were indeed pinched so I relocated them out of the way. This helped the issue, but didn't completely resolve it. I readjusted the lock and loosened the screws on the right side of the lock and it seems to have resolve the issue, even though there was no binding of the deadbolt or friction when manually closing.Hope this helps if it happens to you. Took maybe 15 min to install. Metal, and well made. Fits most RV locks, worked fine in my 2024 Jayco Seismic. Came with everything you need to install. Key fob is a pretty cool feature. You can have two different codes for handle & deadbolt lock. My door actually shuts better now.

Unboxed product. It was well packaged. The quick start instructions were detailed and simple to follow. It seems that most of the negative reviews could have simply been avoided by following the instructions. I will give product a few months to see how it works and will update if there is any reason. Be aware that this lock is designed to use either the key fob or the keypad. The key should ONLY be used as an emergency situation. I have not had any rain yet so I am curious to see how it reacts to a good rain. Lock is extremely sturdy and heavy. Virtually no plastic except for some internal gears as far as I can see. the rest is metal, just what one would like to see in a lock.UPDATE: 2 weeks later. The only thing I see wrong is that it eats batteries. I have replaced them 3 times already. Looking for a solution.UPDATE: I has been almost 2 months since purchase. I DON'T know what the difference is but batteries are lasting much longer. It has been through several rainstorms and I use the lock daily. A lot of the time I just use the buttons on the lock itself but also use the key fob. Perhaps it was just bad batteries before but all is fine now. I am changing the review to a 5 star from a 4 star. I especially like it that I can lock BOTH Deadbolt AND Handle without key.Good Job.Manufacturer tells me that next generation will be reversable for either right hand or left hand hinged doors sometime in the next couple of months.UPDATE AGAIN:Now it's been 5 months since purchase and things are working great. Have been using the same batteries since end of May with discharge and I am full timer so I use this lock every day. If I could add a couple of more stars I would. VERY Happy!!

So the lock looks sleek and it has been working good for the few weeks I’ve had it. I went ahead and started with lithium batteries since previous reviews said that is the route to go. The remotes don’t have great distance, but they sure are handy if it is raining, hit the unlock when you pull up, and then it’s unlocked when u get up to it. I did notice on a bright sunny day that the keypad can be hard to see, sacrifice for the sleek design vs. the ones that are just buttons… overall I like it, it beats the stock lock by a long shot.Pros:Looks goodEasy installWorks goodLove the remotesConslighted keypad hard to see on bright daysSlow to cycle, maybe 8 secs, doesn’t seem long it is just longer then my house door lock

I got my locks (2) months ago and put them both on. The first lock still works amazingly and has saved me from locking myself out already!The second lock unfortunately stopped working and while I could use a key the power would not work, I contacted the company since its about 3 months old and they got photos and tried to troubleshoot first but didn't see a visual issue. So they sent me a new one in 2 days! Best customer service experience ever!The fobs make life so easy and can connect to multiple locks for those who have multiple doors. For those who are concerned about universal keys, each key is unique so no worries there.The locks themselves are amazing quality and I highly recommend them!

First off I don't write a lot of reviews - But when something is really good, I will!Easy to program - took about 5 minutes - READ the setup instructions BEFORE you start - I think that is half of the problem - people get in a hurry and read as they go. Installation took about 10 minutes - again - READ setup instructions first! The lock is really heavy duty. I took the advise of others and put in lithium batteries - so far no issues!I love the fact that it locks BOTH locks and there are 3 ways to open it!Great product!

Easy to install but since the batteries are drained so quick, you still need the key. Pointless.

I love this lock. It is a direct replacement, so installation only takes 5 minutes. It is all metal. Very heavily built. The fobs and keypad operate the deadbolt lock and the handle lock- independently. The keypad is the full 10 digit pad, and is lighted. I did not originally understand this, but after 48 hours of non use, the lock receiver shuts down to save power. In normal use, you never encounter this, but if you store it for more than 48 hours, the fob will not work until you use the keypad, or push the keypad light button. Then the receiver wakes up and everything works. I highly recommend this lock. The seller is excellent to work with (when I did not understand the sleep mode). Buy it, you will like it!
