Comfort Zone 9" Twin Window Fan 3 Speed

NICE! We live in a little studio apartment and there is no vent for the stove/oven but we do have a window right there. We use to set the fire alarm off any time we cooked and the house would fill with smoke. I could deep fry chicken wings on the stove top with this running and the house wouldn't smell at all when I finished, it's that good! Flows a ton of air out so I'm sure it does the same in. We remove it from the window after we cook but it is nice the sides come out to fit better and the bug net thing is nice too

This window fan provides strong airflow and helps circulate fresh air effectively. Installation was simple, and the adjustable panels fit well in standard windows. The dual fan setup allows for intake or exhaust, which is helpful depending on weather. It’s a bit loud on the highest setting, but performance is solid overall. A good choice for improving ventilation.

I've been shopping for a fan for some time. Although I prefer tower fans for the space-saving aspect, the airflow always seems to suffer. Also, every tower fan I've bought in the last decade eventually started with weird squealing or squelch noises when oscillating, which when the house is quiet, I find intolerable. I started looking into window mounted fans and shopped through so many models before deciding on this one, and I'm happy that I did. Firstly, the fan isn't super quiet. To be fair, the fan blades' movement is quiet. The noise I believe many have complaint with is the "hum" that the motors themselves have. Regardless of speed, or direction of the blades, the hum is a constant. If you don't set the fan up correctly in the window, or if it doesn't properly fit your window for some odd reason, it WILL amplify this mechanical, vibrating hum. It's not bad, and it's not overly loud, but you WILL notice it in a quiet environment. The fan itself, is really nice. It has three speeds via 2 fans that aren't fine tunable (no breeze modes,etc.) so you get those 3 speeds and that's it. It has reversible directions, and also the ability to "circulate" by using one of its' fans as a draw fan, while the other blows in. Nice feature, and I didn't find many fans that had it. The remote is exactly that. It's remote. It controls. It will require you to have 2 AAAs on hand to use it. The beeping is really overly-loud. Thankfully, I just turn the fan on and leave it at one setting, so no beeps for me The lights on the fan themselves are super aggressive, and I see no obvious way to turn them off. Doesn't bother me, but others might want that electricians tape ready to cover these things. Also to note are the included screens for the unit . One for covering the unit during cold months, I assume, and the other that acts as a mosquito netting when using the fan. Included are two plastic legs that can apparently be mounted so that the fan can be used table-top style. I can't comment on these as I won't be using them. And I believe there would be better choices if your usage scenario is table-top. All things considered, the fan "fit the bill" for me, and maybe it will for you too, despite it's caveats.

Works great! Fits different size windows. Powerful but quiet. Did not use the bug guard bc it cuts the air flow down a bit.

The fan works great can be placed face either direction and still be able to turn it on and off. It has great air flow and it fit perfectly in my basement window. However this fan claims to be quiet it is definitely not, it’s just as loud as a normal box fan. Which sucks because now I have to turn my TV way up to hear it now.

Finally a window fan that's quiet,good one,will keep getting if this fan stays quiet no rattling. Threw my double the price window fan in trash, rattling.,,,hope they upgrade the Exaust feature to have a true switch on this fan.now you have to turn fan around. But the fan is so smooth best .

Used to reduce carbon dioxide in home office. We kept getting headaches in small home office where we work and play games. Bought a CO2 monitor only to realize we were getting to levels of 1500-1600 and anything over 1800 is considered pretty bad! Bought this. Light weight, fit in window easily (didn't need feet, fit in window sill without removing window screen). First day was in office- In 2 hours use on exhaust on medium, CO2 went down from 1500 to 600. Second day, tried it in bedroom window directly across hall in window on farthest wall on medium. In 1.5 hrs CO2 went from 1200 to 750. Have gotten it as low as 500. CO2 rises from breathing as well using gas appliances (we have a gas stove). Prefer it in bedroom as it is a little loud for me (easily over stimulated by noise). But it isn't so loud you can't hold conversation or anything. Light weight enough that I just take it out of window at night and set it on the sill or floor. Air in rooms definitely feel less dense and more fresh. Very happy with this window fan unit! If you're getting headaches in specific rooms at home, consider it might be CO2 and get some ventilation asap!

This is a quiet and Useful little fan. It is SUPER easy to install, it fits in almost any window and does a decent job as a kitchen exhaust. We cook with Pakistani spices so our food has a strong aroma that really lingers throughout the house. However after using this fan, the aroma is GREATLY reduced. No more scent upstairs and the aroma no longer lingers. Highly recommended!!!

vent a room quickly draws cool air in if you want or can do both at the same time. This is my second one the other one lasted about four years and still works but needs a good cleening lol

This fan works very well, gets the job done, and easy to control with buttons or remote. The twin blades bring cool exterior air in, or take interior air out, or both at same time, which is the biggest positive, without manually having to lift and rotate the machine. The size is 23 ¾ x 12 x 3 ½ inch and fits inside the side sliders double window panes track or in front of the interior front pane on window sill. The two legs attach by a clip and supplied screw on bottom and is another useful positive and prevents fan from falling or blowing over if sitting against the window, or on a flat surface. Fan has a moderate weight, hand carrying indentation, and stable white plastic frame. Comes with elastic bug screen cloth filters for front or back side of fan frame and used only when fan is off. The only three minor negatives are the buttons on the grey front control panel are impossible to see to activate, but the remote is easy and effective from five feet away; the on/off/changing buttons have a very loud chirp sound; and the fan motor (not the blades) has a slight hum sound. This is an excellent fan, at a very competitive price. Highly recommended.
