Not sure if these are as protective as I'd like, but I've had a couple of tumbles that resulted in brain surgery, and I hope that these will prevent serious issues in the future. I feel silly wearing them, but ego can be suppressed in exchange for safety. These are light weight and well ventilated. From a standpoint of looks, I either look like a Cardinal or a Shriner if the tassels are hanging down. Pax vobiscum.

I bought these for my parents who have health issues and faint sometimes. These took forever to arrive and I wasn’t impressed with them. The fabric was super wrinkled and it looked cheaper than other ones I’ve seen.
