Works great holding large thread spools in place. This thread stand is really sturdy and the color on the bottom metal is nice. I'd purchase this product again.

Easy to use ... stays put. What more can I say? Inexpensive and works with my quilting thread spools.

My dogs snapped the threed arm off my sewing machine and my friend suggested on of these. Works like a dream, and holds the large spools which came in super handy for piecing together a quilt!

There isn't much to say about this product, it does exactly what it claims. It has allowed me to sew using a large cone of serger thread on my vintage Singer 15-91 without a problem. I will say that I've needed to use an empty bobbin on the machine's spindle to act as a "guide" for the thread (I wrap it around the bobbin once), otherwise it would occasionally "jump" out of the thread guides and cause birdnests. It's made out of a cast metal and is decently sturdy. I would definitely recommend it.

Thread spool holder works as expected. However, it came with a bolt that doesn't go anywhere. The center post, for the thread, screws in and is flush with the table, but doesn't go through anyway. Dont know what it is for.

haven't used one prior to this. It does a good job and was reasonably priced. Very satisfied.
