MEETION Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse Combo, Split Design, Vertical Mouse

Edit: 6 stars! (Spoiler: there is nothing wrong with the unit) I THOUGHT there was a problem with the keyboard or dongle because keypresses were getting missed. I contacted MEETION support about the issue to see if this might be a common problem and if there was a solution. They offered to send me another keyboard and dongle. This would mean I'd now have 2 dongles. 1 for the existing mouse, and 1 for the new keyboard. I didn't want that, so MEETION agreed to send me another keyboard/mouse combo. While waiting for those items to arrive, I got so fed up with the problem I put the dongle in a different USB port. Since then, the problem has not reoccurred!!! The problem was a USB port all along and not the unit. Having not yet opened up the new keyboard/mouse box, I contacted MEETION support to let them know my findings, apologize, and offer to send back the new item. They said I could keep it! +1 more star for customer service! Original Review: I've been a long-time user of Microsoft ergonomic keyboards, but those are getting hard to find plus pricey. I guess they're discontinuing them and sold the patents to some other company. As you can see from my pics, I tested 4 different ergo keyboards. This MEETION wins! I like the size, feel, and sound of the keys. They're quiet. It feels much like the MS keyboards, and I rarely have mistypes, at least not as much as I was having with the others I tested. I like that the key rows have a slight curve to them, like the MS ones do. One of the Perixx keyboards I tried had straight rows. I like this mouse better than the Perixx one I tried. The Perixx was too vertical, and too big. But it's all about the keyboard. It's easy to use a different mouse if you wanted. I like that it's just one dongle for both the keyboard and the mouse. The Perixx pair I bought required two. I like the full keyboard layout and the Home/End key group arrangement as it matches the MS. The Perixx was different and it annoyed me. It's a good price too! The ProtoArc, my second place finisher, is around $110, $40 more. ProtoArc (2nd place): too laptop-y in key size and feel, for me; spacebar started to squeak a bit; pricey, but sexy; I didn't like the mouse as much as the MEETION mouse X9 (3rd place): didn't lay flat with or without the feet extended; seemed to miss keypresses here and there Perixx (4th place): everything I said above; it was the most noisy and I didn't like the feel Overall I am very impressed and pleased with this keyboard/mouse combo. I hope these last a long time. If they do I will purchase again.

I’ve been using this MEETION ergonomic keyboard and mouse combo for a little while now, and the difference in comfort is honestly noticeable. The split keyboard design took me a day or two to get used to, but once I did, my wrists and shoulders felt so much more relaxed. The cushioned wrist rest is a huge plus—it keeps my hands at a natural angle and reduces strain during long typing sessions. The vertical mouse surprised me in a good way. I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but it actually feels really natural to hold, and I’ve had less tension in my forearm since switching to it. Both the keyboard and mouse connect easily with the USB receiver, and I haven’t had any lag or connection issues. I also appreciate that the keyboard is rechargeable. I’ve used it daily and haven’t had to charge it often, which is convenient. The keys feel solid and responsive, and typing feels smooth whether I’m working on my laptop or desktop. Overall, I’m really happy with this set. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and has genuinely helped reduce the strain I usually feel after hours of typing. If you’re looking for a more natural typing setup, this combo is worth it.

I've been using a wired, Microsoft split keyboard, LXM-00001, for the past three years, and I loved it, minus the fact that the keys were wearing off. I have been typing long enough that I don't need to see the keys, but it just bothered me, how awful my keyboard looked. I also wanted a wireless option but Microsoft doesn't make a wireless version of that keyboard. So, I went shopping and looked for something that visually matched the MS. This Meetion option was my choice, because it's nearly the same layout. I also liked that it had one unifying USB receiver for both the keyboard and mouse. Too many wireless receivers in close proximity seem to cause trouble with each other. I didn't want to worry about it, plus, who can't appreciate having an extra USB port handy? So far, I've had no problem with a missing connection or missing keys. Both the keyboard and the mouse have worked flawlessly and have not dropped connection or gone dead. I can't attest to how long a charge holds yet, because I'm still rolling with my initial charge (a few days) Now, for the typing experience. Since I've been using a keyboard with the same set up as the Meetion for the past few years, I had no "break in" period to learn the layout. My fingers were flying as soon as I got the thing turned on. One reviewer said this keyboard is too loud. Well, it's not exactly quiet, no doubt, but I actually like the "thunk" sound the keys make. A little ASMR, if you will, that increases my typing satisfaction. For some reason, I just REALLY like it. Call me silly, I guess. If you're someone who is used to mechanical keyboards, this sound shouldn't bother you at all. Plus, the sensitivity and play in the keys just works for me. I find I rarely misskey on this thing. When I do, it's a ME problem, not a keyboard problem. The leather wrist support is also a plus for me. Microsoft makes a nylon wrist pad for their ergonomic KB's and those are hit or miss if they'll show stains. The Meetion seems like all it'll ever need is a good swipe with a baby wipe. It also feels pretty good. It hasn't irritated my skin or anything, and it definitely helps with wrist comfort. I can't attest to the durability of it, though, because I haven't had it that long, but that would be something to be conscious of. Some faux leather can break down over long term use. This seems like a decent quality faux leather, so this may never be a problem. Only time will tell on that. The mouse that comes with this keyboard is excellent. I love everything about the mouse. It's a decent size, not too big, but not too small for someone with a medium size hand. It's very responsive with satisfying roll ease and a nice clicky that's completely silent. Again, I love that it doesn't need it's own dedicated USB receiver. I have no complaints at all about the mouse. Love it. All in all, I'm very pleased with this keyboard/mouse. I felt unsure, given the few reviews and the name brand not being one I was familiar with, but I'm glad I took the chance. This is a fairly decent price point as well, and it wouldn't be too hard on the bank account to purchase another one as a gift or as a replacement. So, yeah, I would buy this again if I needed to, and I do recommend it if you're someone who kinda likes the mechanical keyboard sound and feel and you don't work in a library quiet atmosphere. I had been using this MEETION ergonomic keyboard and mouse combo for almost two years at my work computer station but recently moved and lost the USB dongle and had to switch back to a different keyboard and mouse. After using another setup for a while, it made me appreciate this combo even more. MEETION customer service was able to provide me a replacement even though it was outside of the warranty period and losing the receiver dongle was no one's fault but mine, I really really appreciate the customer service! Now on to why I love the set: The keyboard is large and very comfortable, with plenty of useful shortcut keys. More importantly for me, the keys are quiet, smooth, and responsive, which makes it great for long periods of typing. It has a cushioned wrist rest that is very comfortable, and the overall design keeps my wrists supported and down in a more natural position instead of leaving them hanging off the edge of the keyboard. The split design took a little time to adjust to initially, but once I did, it felt very natural. The mouse is also very smooth and comfortable to use and includes several convenient shortcut buttons. It isn’t as dramatically vertical as some ergonomic mice, which initially made me wonder whether it provided the same benefit. I actually compared it side-by-side with a much more vertical mouse I own. Even though the MEETION mouse is almost at least a half an inch shorter, I was surprised to see that the actual position of my wrist was not significantly different between the two but I have very small hands and it may make a difference if your hand is larger (see photos). Both the keyboard and mouse connect through the USB receiver, and when I was using the original dongle, the connection was reliable with no noticeable lag. The keyboard and mouse are rechargeable but hold a charge for a very long time and do not take much time to charge with the usb-c cord that they also provide. It also comes with a simple flat mousepad and a user manual (see pic) that does a great job explaining all the key functions and light indicators (as there are a lot of them). If you are someone who works on your computer all day I strongly recommend this combo.

I spend a lot of time at my pc desk, and sometimes have had problems with wrist pain. That's why I got this ergonomic keyboard and mouse set. It's great. Adapting to the shape took a little bit, but now it feels natural and comfortable. It's helped a lot with the wrist pain too. Everything works as expected. It has a nice cushion where your palms wrest on the bottom edge. It also includes a simple black mousepad. It's wireless, so that helps keep the desk tidy and reduce the number of extra cables laying around, at the cost of having to occasionally recharge both devices. They connect to a little USB-A dongle, and an adaptor to USB-C is included as well, for more compatibility. The charges last a very long time, and they recharge using the standard USB-C cables that most modern devices use, so it's hardly an inconvenience. It's a good bundle, I am pleased with it.

I really like this keyboard and mouse, seems to be helping my carpel tunnel. My two biggest complaints - 1) the connectivity, every once in a while it pauses/freezes and certain keys won't work and 2) the print on the keys are already starting to wear off and I've only been using it a week. My font on my keys have always worn but it's taken at least a year or more for that to happen. I was hoping I could find the simple answer to this problem but unfortunately it doesn't look like anyone makes the silicone keyboard cover for this model to protect the keys.

I loved that I was able to find an Ergonomic keyboard and mouse combo but the downside is the keyboards lags and won’t catch keys when you’re typing. I use it for my job and classes. It gets frustrating after while having to wait for your keyboard to “wake up.” But the mouse is a plus and easy on the wrist.

I have been using and thoroughly enjoyed Microsoft's Sculpt wireless ergonomic keyboard and mouse for many years. I replaced them once already, but recently lost my keyboard in a move. I was sad to learn they discontinued their line; however, I have learned that InCase will be bringing them back later this year. I purchased the Meetion based on the reviews I read searching for a replacement wireless ergonomic keyboard and mouse and the pricing for a combo keyboard and mouse. I have updated this review based on my continued use of the product as it took time to transition, plus my excellent interaction with support, changing this from my initial reaction of 3 stars to 5 stars. Keyboard: In comparison to the Microsoft sculpt, this keyboard is thicker and bulkier, but feels pretty solid. The keys feel pretty responsive and do have good feedback. It has a pretty good split between the hands, but I don't feel like the rise in the center is high enough. It does have riser adjustments in the front and back of the keyboard underneath to raise it up to a more desired height. I don't like that it includes the numpad, which I don't need, as it is too long for the keyboard tray on my standing desk and therefore sits on top of my mouse pad. However, I know others do like having the numpad. I do like the specialty keys, like PC Lock (top right corner), Windows Settings, Explorer, Calculator and Multi-Tasking View. The "Start" button is equivalent to the WIN key, so Start (WIN) + L locks the screen for instance. The Start also works as Opt on Macs, and the Alt works as Cmd on Macs. I wish it had a dedicated microphone mute and video camera on and off quick keys since the company name is based on Meetings, but you can't have everything. It does have a lot of controls though. It has audio controls, including Mute, in the center of the keyboard as well as brightness controls. There are many other special keys on the Function (FN) keys that can be utilized as well. It also has a switch to turn off the keyboard when not in use to save on the lithium battery that is included. That is not something I am used to as the MS keyboard went to sleep on its own, but I'll get used to it over time. They also provide a USB-C to USB-A cable with an adapter to change the USB-A to USB-C, which is really nice. The cable is used to charge the keyboard as well as the mouse. It would be nice if they had included BT1, BT2 along with the USB 2.5 GHz dongle as the dongle is the only option. However, both the keyboard and the mouse run off the same wireless dongle to connect to your PC. It has lights on the center of the keyboard for charging, low battery, Num lock, Caps Lock, Sroll Lock and FN Lock, which is nice. Mouse: I don't personally like the feel of the vertical mouse as it needs to be a bit bigger to fit even my smaller hands better. The MS mouse was more rounded and seems to fit inside my hand better, but I am sure I will get used to this new mouse over time as any change is going to be different. I really don't like that the mouse buttons don't click to give you feedback that you have clicked the button. Although it does make the mouse quieter. At first, I thought the mouse buttons were broke since they did not click. Initially, not having this feedback made the mouse buttons feel sensitive and sometimes I would click them without meaning to click. Over time, I have gotten used to it and I do not click them accidentally anymore. I also initially wanted to hold the mouse more loosely causing it to slip out of my hands, but over time I got adjusted to this new mouse. The scroll wheel, forward and back buttons do provide a click feedback and work nicely, so I am not sure why the main buttons don't provide a click for good feedback. It also has a DPI button to easily change the speed of the mouse, which I believe is unnecessary as usually once I have the speed set in Windows Settings, I never change it. The mouse also has a switch to turn it on and off to save on the lithium battery. That is not something I am used to as the MS mouse went to sleep on its own, but I'll get used to it over time. The same USB cable is used for charging the mouse as you would the keyboard. It has lights on the mouse for feedback on charging, low battery, and DPI changes. Support: I did engage support and they were very receptive and excellent to work with.

Mouse stopped working after only 2 weeks. Keyboard and mouse feel really cheap. Even coming in at a lower price point it's not worth it.

I replaced my Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard and mouse with this model. The layout is not ideal, ergonomically it is comfortable, but the Windows key is not where it is supposed to be so switching between tabs becomes a hunt for keys. The keyboard also has a ghosting issue annd frequennt double characters are typed annd need to be corrected as seen in the last few words. especially when typing a N. As for the mouse. They tried their best with ergonnimics but the mouse is overall too small and your fingers hang over the front, giving you a false feeling on button presses. The mouse is designned for people with very small hands or short fingers. I have to hold my palm in a odd position to click the buttons, which hurts your wrist after a few hours of work. Also the mouse is quite slippery so you have to really take a gri of it and this also brings me to the forward bavccck buttons, that are placed in a position that makes it easy for your thumbs to click them constantly. Overall I wouldnt buy it again, and the issues listed above doesnnt make it worth the money paid. I also dont think the keyboard faux leather pad will last long.

This is one of the better ergonomic keyboards and Mouse, competitively priced. It has all the features one needs for home or work use.
